Agree. Klopp's nationality was just a peg for Coote to hang his annoyance on. The danger of treating such cases as if they are meant when they obv.weren't is that it risks bringing the whole anti-racism agenda into disrepute. The quickest way to ruin a good case is to overstate it.

The var shouldn't know who is reffing. They shouldn't be from the same pool of refs either. Give it to a fat nerd who performs better than others in a series of tests. Pay him with gamer chairs and anime pillows.
There's no reason for personality to enter into it at all.
They are shit at doing their job and someone should make the entire process transparent and professional. Every one of these recordings should sound exactly the same and be boring,monotone, drilled and dispassionate.
