I wouldn't pick Agger even then TBH. Both he and Sami would want the left-side slot, and nobody in anything like their right mind would prefer Agger.

Maybe we scando's don't care if a player is scouse or not. We don't care about that. It is how good a player is that counts. Nothing else.

Carra is a Liverpool legend but he wasn't a good leader on the pitch. He did moan at his teammates and blamed them when he made mistakes. A good leader will never do that. Hyypia was for almost a decade our defensive leader on the pitch. Not Carra. Carra was only great for us when he played together with Hyypiä and when he had Rafa as manager.
