2 Keepers is enough. Assuming Jones is not going anywhere. Reina will go we don't want him back.

CB is Lovren. Iliori needs to stay (Sakho, Lovren, Skrtel & Ilori is a pretty damn good set of CBs). Agger & Coates gone. Toure can be CB #5 or leave, either way is fine.

FB - maybe Rojo now Davies seems to be on his way to Spurs ?

bit off topic but comes to mind looking at the squad list ...are the players we have signed and been linked with going to actually improve our strongest 11 ? don't get me wrong , we are going to be be stronger squad wise and able to handle injuries/the extra games but will our best team when we face the other top teams be any stronger than last year ? so far it doesn't look likely to me . Well maybe lovern will make a massive difference to our defence , the rest don't seem any improvement on our best from last year .

I would keep Reina and get rid of Jones. At the start of last season, a Mignolet injury would have seen us finish 7th instead of 5th, no big deal. But things are very different now. A Mignolet injury could cost us the title, so I'd rather just apologise to Reina, pay him his stupid wages and welcome him back. We can always fuck him over a few years down the line when we don't need him anymore. After all, revenge is a dish best served cold.

jesus christ , i really am terrible at this being a fan malarkey ...i think the only players on that list that i would care about if culled would be Gerrard , coutinho ,sterling , Ibe ( i think he could be great in the future ) , sturridge and markovic (and that is only based on my benfica mate raving about him ) . the rest are "meh" .

I think with us having CL football aswell, he'll probably play a fair bit, you might even argue that he'd suit the European games more than Hendo.

You could take that slant with most squads really, aside from the top creative players, it's difficult to get excited about the rest of the cogs, even though many of them are crucial. I mean, we just finished 2nd with many of them.

No, I agree.

It's largely a question of what we do with the youngsters.

We've got a fair few that are good enough to be playing top flight football now so big season ahead for all of them.
