Apart from a precision chipped pass, some 30 yards, that should have seen Firmino score.

Indeed that was a beauty. Firmino hasn't got his sharpness back yet in an attacking sense.

Overall he was very poor going forward and got bailed out time and time again at the back.

He needs to improve quickly or Clyne should get a chance.

On the flip side Robertson was superb and Gomez was very effective

Milner has been our best ... the front 3 dont actually look up for it yet. Strange game today they were well playing within themselves. So glad we got that 2nd goal coz you dont know how often man city will start spanking other teams...its good to be in touching goal differene distance.
Seriously? Two games into the season, and you're talking goal difference?
Madman

Actually don't see anything wrong with Roy's comments. The interviewer wanted some controversy Roy refused to give him anything.

I see something wrong every time the chump opens his beak, horrible individual. (Sorry I liked your post by mistake)

Allardyce was quick to forget how sure he was about the pen Everton got at Anfield.
Somebody should have reminded him about that...

I spat my tea out the other night when I saw his contribution to the postmatch discussion of United with Keys and Gray where he bemoaned United's style of play.

That was a tough match, so a clean sheet and a few goals is brilliant.

Im without doubt that Karius wouldve fluffed the Zaha drive between his legs or missed the freekick altogether so hes certainly secured the points. Also, THAT ridiculous ping to TAA in the 70th odd minute, jesus hes going to rack up an assist or two this season

Keita was er ok. Milner worked hard, Gini possibly the most impressive, getting better as others tired. VVD is a boss, I think we are one decent cb away from bossing this league, Gomez just isnt there yet,its not as if TAA can lend experience to that sideof the defence either, i'm not sure Lovren is preferable to him. Frim was somewhere, Mo not quite there, Mane bossing that no.10 shirt

It really fucked me off on MNF after the game when they did a segment on City and stated that they're the only team in the league with a keeper who could turn defence into immediate attack, despite just witnessing a long distance passing masterclass from Alisson.

Yeah I noticed that. It was Carragher right?

Im seriously baffled by the furore about the penalty.
When the ball is played in hes pulling him by the shoulder, as Salah turns he clips him, as he runs on he has a second bite, and then finally a third bite, when you are busy watching that and seeing his feet trip Salah look up and see Sakho also have a tug at his jersey around his stomach.
There are effectively 5 fouls in about 2 seconds. Its as clear a pen as you can have as not ONCE does Sakho touch the ball.

He pulls, trips and tugs Salah and Salah goes down.

Im honestly a bit baffled by the ‘controversy’

If you put 20 refs in a room and asked was it a pen 20 would say yes.

Weird press.

They're all mates with Woy innit.

I can enjoy him now. It's like seeing some psychotic twat of an ex out with another guy and observing that the poor bastard is undergoing the torture you once went through. You can smile wryly and think 'thank fuck that isn't me'.

Palace don't regard him like that, he saved their arse last season. He's also fondly remembered at West Brom and Fulham. Even Inter had nice things to say about him.

At his level, and at the right sort of club and circumstances, he's a decent enough manager.

I've never liked him, though, even before he was our manager. Because he's a grumpy, snooty twat and says things like "vis-a-vis"
