Not as good as how he looked in the world cup. Colombia have some good individuals but other than the game against USA ( the first game) they havent looked that impressive in this tournament. Chile have gotten progressively better in each game.
Argentina dismantle the USMNT 4-0 and still 2 minutes plus extra time to go.
Without Bobby wood, the US seem incapable of holding on to the ball. Klinsmann should go after this.
Weird selection and team shape. Nagbe, Pulisic should have played more. Not sure what Wondolowski, a striker, was doing marking Messi. Why the hell was Beckerman picked!!!

The performance was embarrassing. Of course, the US team is not exactly overflowing with talent but they can do better on the whole with the talent pool available.
Klinsmann did really well getting out of the group in World Cup 2014. Credit to him for that.
But his entire reign has been two step forwards and back. The embarrassing losses in the Gold Cup. No discerning style of play or plan to integrate the youth. I really dont think US football has progressed at all under him.

Marcelo Diaz of Chile sent of in the 28th minute. Two yellows both for tackles against Messi.
Messi yellow carded for diving.

The second yellow card for Diaz was harsh too. The ref has lost it.
That was ridiculous. He got sent off for basically standing still while Messi jumped into him

Yup. Forgot Vidal. The unity, the team spirit, and the way each player raises their game for the national team is impressive.
Eduardo Vargas - scored 2 goals in 24 games for Hoffenheim. Has been a journey man striker playing for like 4 clubs in the last 5 years. Scores 32 in 58 games for Chile.
Gary Medel plays like Mascherano on steroids for Chile. Puch - 30 years old and just got a transfer to a Mexican club - plays like one of the best right attacking midfielders in the world for Chile. Fuanzalida, Valvidia ( last year) and the list goes on...
If he ain't careful our own manager might follow...
