[article]Serbian winger Milos Krasic has joined Bastia on loan from Turkish club Fenerbahce, the French Ligue 1 side said on Friday.

The 28-year-old Krasic, who has 46 international caps, struggled to get a regular place at the Istanbul club he joined from Juventus last year, playing only 13 league games last season.

"This brilliant player, who is seeking to play more ahead of next year's World Cup, has been seduced by the Bastia challenge," his new club said on their website.

Krasic, a 2012 Serie A champion with Juventus, also had spells at CSKA Moscow and Serbia's Vojvodina.[/article]

[article=http://www.cpfc.co.uk/news/article/palace-confirm-guedioura-deal-1033265.aspx]Crystal Palace have today finalised the signing of Adlene Guedioura from Nottingham Forest on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old midfielder has joined Ian Holloway’s side despite the closing of the transfer window at 11pm last night as part of the deal was agreed before the deadline, allowing the club to continue with proceedings to get the deal done.

Having started his career in the French lower leagues, he moved onto Belgium where starred for Kortrijk and Charleroi before he was spotted by Wolverhampton Wanderers. After an impressive loan spell, Guedioura was brought to Molineux on a permanent deal.

His career received a setback when he suffered a fractured tibia against Fulham in September 2010 but he battled back and put in some impressive displays despite six months on the sidelines.

The French-born Algerian then moved to Forest on loan in January 2012, only to become a permanent Forest player later that summer. He went on to become an integral part of the team, making 35 appearances for the Reds, scoring three goals along the way.

Guedioura is also a regular for the Algerian national side having made 27 appearances, including a substitute appearance against England in the group stage of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.[/article]

1378151813_extras_noticia_foton_7_0.jpg

[article]Denis Cheryshev has described as "key" the conversation his agent had with the Sevilla coach, Unai Emery, in helping the player of Russian descent to agree to a loan move to the club from Real Madrid. According to the player, Emery specifically requested the player's signature in that exchange.

A product of the Real Madrid youth academy, Cheryshev also reminded everybody present at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium on the day of his presentation that he had "been in Spain since I was 5 years old", so he expects "to have no problems adapting, the problem I would have is if I went to Russia", he jokingly made clear.

The Russian international said the chance to come "to a historic club is the opportunity of lifetime", while he also sees as positive the competition within the Sevilla squad in his favoured left wing position: "It is something that can improve us all. If you are on your own you run the risk of relaxing", he explained.

Cheryshev also admitted his "first idea was to continue at Real Madrid, but at my age I need to play first team football". At 22 he would struggle to get that at Madrid with the arrival of the Welshman Gareth Bale, someone Cheryshev says will "improve the Spanish league but it also means that some players will have to leave".

The new Sevilla player also had time to comment when asked about the goal his father, Dimitri, scored for Sporting Gijon against Betis to relegate Sevilla in 1997.

"Let the defenders tell you if anything strange went on, I have nothing else to say", he briefly replied to sidestep any further questioning on the matter.[/article]

[article=http://www.slbenfica.pt/noticias/detalhedenoticia/tabid/2788/ArticleId/31406/language/pt-PT/Siqueira-Faco-parte-de-um-dos-maiores-Clubes-da-Europa.aspx]Brazilian left-back Guilherme Siqueira has joined Benfica on a season-long loan deal from Granada after reported suitors Real Madrid retained Fabio Coentrao's services.

The 27-year-old was linked with a move to Carlo Ancelotti's side, as well as Premier League champions Manchester United, while Coentrao's future at the Bernabeu hung in the balance on transfer deadline day - but the Portuguese did not complete his rumoured move to Old Trafford.

Primeira Liga giants Benfica were therefore able to push through a loan deal for former Inter Milan, Lazio and Udinese defender Siqueira and confirmed the transfer on their official website.

A statement read: "Benfica have secured Guilherme Siqueira on a one-year loan deal for the 2013-14 season.

"The Brazilian left-back, 27, arrives from Granada, where has played since 2011.

"Before playing for Granada, Siqueira played for Avai, Ipatinga, Inter Milan, Lazio, Udinese and Ancona."

Siqueira originally joined Granada in a co-ownership arrangement with Udinese three years ago, helping the Andalusians win promotion to the Primera Division before signing a four-year permanent contract in June 2011.[/article]

we should have been all over that deal! this guy is highly rater.

Stellar work as always, Binny. Much appreciated.

Very much indeed so.

Only crack in an otherwise master piece of a thread is the way he has seemingly decided to overlook the Eriksen transfer.

Football fans have feelings too, Binny, you genius, evil bot.

Summary of Dutch league transfers

[article=http://www.globaltimes.cn/content/808347.shtml#.UidfTzZ9uSo]The transfer window closed midnight on Monday, with reigning champions Ajax considered the biggest losers losing key players Christian Eriksen en Toby Alderweireld.

On transfer deadline day Ajax announced the departure of the 24-year-old Belgian defender Alderweireld to Atletico Madrid for a fee believed to be in the region of 7 million euros. Alderweireld, whose contract at Ajax expired in 2014, signed a four-year deal with Atletico Madrid.

On Friday reigning Dutch champions Ajax and Tottenham Hotspur agreed on the transfer of 21-year-old Danish midfielder Eriksen to London for a fee which, including bonuses, can reach 13.5 million euros. The contract of Eriksen ran out in 2014.

Ajax bought Lerin Duarte from Heracles Almelo for 2.5 million euros as a late replacement for Eriksen, but did not manage to get in any other players. Attempts to loan wingers Ola John of Benfica and Eljero Elia of Werder Bremen failed. The biggest Ajax signings earlier in the window were Mike van der Hoorn (FC Utrecht) and Bojan Krkic (on lean from FC Barcelona).

PSV Eindhoven had the most changes in the summer transfer window, with among others Adam Maher (AZ), Jeffrey Bruma (Chelsea), Ji-Sung Park (on loan, Queens Park Rangers), Karim Rekik (on loan, Manchester City) and Stijn Schaars (Sporting Portugal) coming and Dries Mertens (Napoli), Erik Pieters (Stoke City), Jeremain Lens (Dynamo Kiev), Kevin Strootman (AS Roma) leaving. PSV did not manage to sell Ola Toivonen, whose contract expires in 2014.

Feyenoord defender Bruno Martins Indi seemed on his way to Premier League club Everton on transfer deadline day, but the Dutch international stayed in Rotterdam. The Feyenoord squad remained more or less the same as last season, with only striker Samuel Armenteros (on loan, Anderlecht) added to the squad.

Other big names leaving the Eredivisie this summer were Nacer Chadli (FC Twente to Tottenham Hotspur), Filip Djuricic (sc Heerenveen to Benfica), Ryan Babel (Ajax to Kasimpasa), Jozy Altidore (AZ to Sunderland), Douglas (FC Twente to Dynamo Moscow), Marco van Ginkel (Vitesse to Chelsea), Leroy Fer (FC Twente to Norwich City) and Wilfried Bony (Vitesse to Swansea City).

On the last day of the transfer window a total of 56 transfers were reported in the Dutch League, the Dutch football association KNVB announced on Tuesday.

In the whole summer transfer window, from June 11 to September 2, the KNVB reported a total of 471 transfers, with 97 players arriving from abroad and 97 players moving to foreign clubs. Within the Netherlands 277 players changed clubs. Last summer a total of 543 summer transfers were recorded and in 2011 a total of 509 summer transfers.[/article]

[article=http://www.marca.com/2013/09/03/en/football/barcelona/1378235263.html]FC Barcelona Vice President, Josep Maria Bartomeu, analysed the club's transfer ins and outs at an earlier press conference: "Neymar cost the club €57 million. Santos and other companies were paid. Many figures have been talked about, but the fee was €57 million".

Bartomeu also made it clear about the fee for Villa: "Atlético's bid was the most convincing. The amount was €5.1 million, with a preferential option over two young Atlético players". The Barça Vice President did not reveal who the two players were, but it is rumoured that they could be Koke and Manquillo.[/article]

[article=http://www.marca.com/2013/09/04/en/football/barcelona/1378278489.html]Barcelona has confirmed that it has made a €7.9 million payment to Santos as part of an agreement to secure first refusal on three of the Brazilian club's starlets. The Catalan outfit is adamant that the deal is totally unrelated to the signing of Neymar.

The €7.9 million shelled out is non-refundable: in other words, it will not be returned if Barça does not ultimately snap up any of the trio. However, were one of the deals to go through, this down payment would be deducted from the total fee.

The three players that have caught the eye of the 'Azulgranas' scouts are Gabriel, Giva and Victor Andrade. All three are forwards aged between 17 and 20. Though all are highly rated prospects, they are relatively raw, having yet to break into the first-team picture on a consistent basis.

The continued speculation surrounding the real cost of Neymar's signature has prompted the Barça board to show maximum transparency regarding this latest agreement with Santos, stressing that the deal was struck after Neymar had arrived.

Whatever the case may be, the trio have the odds stacked against them in terms of one day turning out for the Barcelona first team, considering the club's recent policy of loaning out its youngsters. Despite his young age, 23-year-old Bojan Krkic has already been farmed out three times – he is currently away at Ajax – while 19-year-old Gerard Deulofeu will spend this season at Everton. Both are pegged to return to the Catalan capital next year.[/article]

The Finnish international initially moves from HJK Helsinki on a season-long loan to second division VfR Aalen. Bayer 04 have an option to sign the youngster from 1 July 2014.

“I know Joel from the Finland squad. He’s a very skillful striker and advanced for his age. We will keep a close eye on him in Aalen and we are confident Joel can become a very promising player for us,” said Bayer 04 coach Sami Hyypiä in commenting on his fellow countryman.[/article]

Mladen Petric - West Ham (free transfer)

BTzXXqDCcAE69km.jpg

[article=http://www.whufc.com/articles/20130910/hammers-net-petric_2236884_3453575]West Ham United are delighted to announce the arrival of Croatia international forward Mladen Petric on a deal until the end of the 2013/14 season.

Petric, who spent last season in the Barclays Premier League with Fulham, has played at the highest level in Germany for Borussia Dortmund and Hamburger SV, along with appearing in the Euro 2008 finals for his country.

He notched 51 Bundesliga goals prior to moving to English football last summer, where five goals in ten starts for the Cottagers followed.
He told whufc.com of his delight at linking up with the Hammers.

"I'm very happy, excited and looking forward to training with the team and to the first game," Petric said. "I know [the Premier League] and I'm happy to be back in the Premier League, because it's a fantastic league and I'm really looking forward to being part of this team and this Club.

"There are a lot of good players here and I'm happy to be part of such a good team and I hope we can all celebrate my first goal for West Ham as soon as possible.

"I didn't speak to Sam [Allardyce] until today but I've heard a lot about him and I spoke to Guy Demel, who I know from my time at Hamburg and I'm sure I'll have a good time here.

"I remember playing at West Ham last year and it was a very tough game for us at Fulham. I think we lost 3-0! It's not easy to come here [as the away side] and take points away."

Petric was born in Dubrave, then in Yugoslavia, in January 1981 and began his career in Switzerland after moving there with his family as a youngster.

Spells at FC Baden, Grasshopper and Basel, where he was the Swiss League's top scorer in 2006/07, saw the 6'1'' striker establish himself before earning a move to Germany with Borussia Dortmund in summer 2007.

He helped Dortmund reach the final of the German Cup, as well as notching 13 league goals in his only season with Die Borussen, moving on to fellow German club Hamburg in 2008.

Petric remained equally prolific with his new club, scoring 12 times in 25 league games in his first campaign and bagging 38 in total, along with 15 assists.

Martin Jol, who managed him for a time at Hamburg, then took him to Fulham in 2012. He has also appeared on 45 occasions for Croatia, netting 13 goals - including the winner in their 3-2 win over England at Wembley in November 2007.

The striker has been maintaining his fitness over the summer and will begin training with his new team-mates immediately.[/article]

Federico Macheda - Doncaster (1 month loan with option to extend)

[article=http://www.doncasterroversfc.co.uk/news/article/macheda-signs-on-1057555.aspx#8QbfOqdPXtrLeRR7.99 ]Doncaster Rovers have agreed a deal with Manchester United to take 22 year old Italian striker, Federico Macheda, on an initial one month loan with the option to extend it, subject to paperwork.

Macheda trained with Rovers on Sunday and Monday ahead of the game against Watford on Tuesday night.

He was also a spectator in the crowd at the Huddersfield game last Saturday.

Born in Rome, Macheda began his career with Serie A side Lazio but joined Manchester United when he turned 16 in 2007.

Macheda signed his first professional contract with Manchester United on his 17th birthday in August 2008.

In the 2008–09 season, he continued in the under-18 side, while also making a number of appearances for the reserves.

Towards the end of the season, Macheda enjoyed an extended run in the reserve team, scoring eight goals in eight games, including a hat-trick in a 3–3 draw with Newcastle United on 30 March 2009.

He was rewarded for this by being selected for the first team for the match against Aston Villa on 5 April 2009.

With United 2–1 down heading into the final third of the game, manager Alex Ferguson substituted Nani for Macheda just after the hour mark.

Then, after Cristiano Ronaldo equalised for United in the 80th minute, Macheda scored a dramatic winner after turning to evade his marker which he followed up with a curling effort from just inside the penalty area in the third minute of injury time.

Macheda spent the next couple of years on the fringe of the United first-team, before twice going out on loan – first to Sampdoria in his native Italy in 2011, and then to Queen's Park Rangers in 2012, the latter of which was curtailed by injury.

Macheda ended last season on loan at German side, Stuttgart, making eleven appearances for the Bundesliga club.

Macheda is also an Italian youth international, having made appearances for the national Under-16, Under-17 and teams. He made his Under-21 debut in August 2009 in a friendly against and scored his first goals for the team just over a year later in a match against Turkey.[/article]
