Roma have completed the signing of former Italy goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis from Napoli.
De Sanctis has penned a two-year deal at Roma, with the capital club paying a transfer fee of 500,000 euros ($662,000).
De Sanctis spent four seasons at Napoli, helping them to the Italian Cup in 2012 as well as the Champions League quarter-finals, where they lost to eventual winner Chelsea.
He also won the Italian league in 1998, during a two-year spell as reserve goalkeeper for Juventus.
De Sanctis made six appearances for Italy before retiring from international football on his 36th birthday in March.

He was joined by his assistant Jorge Pautasso and fitness coach Elvio Paolorosso. In addition to president Sandro Rosell, the event was also attended by vice presidents Josep Maria Bartomeu and Carles Vilarrubí, directors Ramon Cierco, Eduard Coll, Ramon Pont, Javier Bordas and the Director of Football Andoni Zubizarreta.
Martino landed at El Prat Airport on Thursday afternoon, and once in Barcelona travelled directly to the club for a photo session before the FC Barcelona crest. A large number of Newell’ supporters were also there to greet him.

CITY are delighted to confirm the signing of striker Gary Hooper from Celtic for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal - with the Club having an option on a further year.
The 25-year-old becomes City boss Chris Hughton’s seventh summer signing after making the switch back to English football following a hugely-successful stint with SPL champions Celtic.
Hooper started his career as a youngster with Spurs and then joined Grays in 2005, scoring eight goals in 37 appearances for them before moving to Southend United on a free transfer in August 2006. Grays won a Conference South title and the FA Trophy twice during his time there.
He scored four goals in 44 appearances for Southend but also had two loan spells, scoring two goals in four games for Leyton Orient in 2007 and finding the net 11 times in 19 games for Hereford the following year as he helped them win promotion from League Two.
Hooper made a £175,000 switch to Scunthorpe United in 2008 and his career really took off at this point, as he fired in 50 goals in 95 appearances in all competitions in his two seasons with the Iron. He was voted Scunthorpe’s player of the season in 2008-09, helping them to achieve promotion to the Championship via the play-offs.
His prolific scoring for Scunthorpe persuaded Celtic to make a £2.4m swoop for him in July 2010 and he’s gone on to rack up 82 goals in 137 appearances for the Scottish giants. Hooper was Celtic’s top scorer for three consecutive seasons in 2010-11 (22 goals), 2011-12 (29) and 2012-13 (31).
Celtic have won two SPL titles and two Scottish FA Cups during Hooper’s time with them and he has won the SPL Golden Boot in 2011-12 and twice been included in the SPFA SPL Team of the Year, in 2010-11 and 2011-12.
Speaking exclusively to www.canaries.co.uk, Hooper said he was pleased to join the Canaries after months of speculation linking him with a move to Carrow Road: "There's been a lot of speculation going back to January and I'm pleased to have finally put pen to paper and joined Norwich.
"I can't wait to get down to work, to get training with the lads and working with the coaching staff. I knew Chris Hughton and Colin Calderwood from my youth days at Spurs so it will be great to be back working with them in the Premier League.
"I have scored goals at every level I have played at and the challenge of playing in the Premier League is really exciting to me."
Hooper said his new club came highly-recommended to him by former Canary loanee Fraser Forster, the Celtic 'keeper who won a League One title medal with City in 2009-10.
"I had a chat with Fraser about Norwich and he said it was a great club, with great fans and in a really nice part of the world. He said he really enjoyed his time here."
The striker also had a special word in parting for Celtic and their fans: "I just want to thank everyone up there for the past few years - the fans have been fantastic to me and the club have really looked after me."
Austria defender Aleksandar Dragovic has left FC Basel to join Dynamo Kiev on a five-year deal reportedly worth 9 million euros ($11.9 million), making him the most expensive Austrian player.
The transfer fee exceeds the 6.5 million euro ($8.6 million) FC Twente paid for Salzburg striker Marc Janko three years ago.
Dragovic tells the Austria Press Agency the record "is no special honor to me as we've got a lot of great players in Austria."
Having started his career with Austria Vienna before moving to Basel in 2011, the 22-year-old Dragovic says "Dynamo Kiev is the best club in Eastern Europe ... This move is fantastic for me, I've made the next step in my career."
Dragovic is also a regular in the national team under coach Marcel Koller.
Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of Queens Park Rangers forward Jamie Mackie for an undisclosed fee.
The 27 year old, who made 29 Premier League appearances for the West London side last season, has signed a three-year deal at The City Ground.
Mackie started his career as a trainee at Wimbledon but made a name for himself with spells at Exeter City and Plymouth Argyle, where his performances earned him a switch to Loftus Road in August 2010.
Having taken up a wide position under Neil Warnock, Mackie scored 10 goals in 30 appearances during the 2010-11 season as The Hoops won promotion to the Premier League – a run of form which earned him a call-up to Scotland’s Euro 2012 qualifying squad. He notched seven Premier League goals from a similar position the following campaign.
Reds manager Billy Davies told nottinghamforest.co.uk: “Jamie is an excellent signing for us.
“His athleticism and work rate are second to none and his ability to play out wide will add real diversity and direction to our attacking play.
“Those factors, added to his considerable domestic and international experience, make him an extremely valuable addition to our squad.”
Benfica striker Nelson Oliveira has joined Ligue 1 side Rennes on a season long loan deal with an option for a permanent move.
Oliveira, who had been a target of Premier League outfit Stoke City, moves to the Stade de la Route de Lorient after spending last term with Deportivo La Coruna.
The 21-year-old was not able help the Galician side avoid relegation from La Liga, netting just four goals in 31 appearances.
However, the Portuguese appears to have done enough to impress new Rennes boss Philippe Montanier, whose Real Sociedad side relegated Deportivo with a 1-0 win on the final day of last season.
"Nelson was our priority," Montanier told the club's official website.
"He is a promising and complete player."
Oliveira admitted that it was Montanier's presence that convinced him to join Rennes, and is hoping to repay the faith showed in him by the Britanny club.
"It (Montanier's influece) meant a lot. I observed how he evolved Real Sociedad last year," Oliveira explained.
"He called me several times and clearly explained to me that he wanted me. It was a very important element in my coming to Rennes.
"The most important thing will be to help Rennes. I want to repay the confidence that the coach and the club have shown in me.
"I hope to have a good season, score goals and do my best."
Cardiff City is pleased to announce that John Brayford has signed for the Club from Derby County following the completion of his medical and paperwork.
The highly-rated defender has signed a four year deal at Cardiff City Stadium and will link up with his new team-mates ahead of City's pre-season fixture at Cheltenham Town on Saturday.
Twenty-five-year old right-back John made 117 appearances in total for the Rams following his move to Pride Park in May 2010. An ever present in Nigel Clough’s side, he notched up 43 appearances in all competitions for County last season, scoring three goals in the process.
Speaking exclusively to Cardiff City Player on Friday afternoon having completed his move, John said: "When I heard Cardiff were interested in signing me then I was obviously very interested, especially at the prospect of playing in the Premier League and testing myself at the highest level. Derby will always be a special Club to me, but this was an opportunity I couldn't ignore."
Brentford have signed Everton attacker Conor McAleny on loan.
The 20-year-old forward has joined The Bees for the first half of the 2013/14 season and will stay at Griffin Park initially until January 6.
He follows in the footsteps of Jake Bidwell and Adam Forshaw, who had spells on loan at Brentford from Everton and have since signed permanently for the Club.
Brentford Manager Uwe Rösler said: “We have been working on getting Conor to Griffin Park for eight or nine months.
“We have watched him several times, [Sporting Director] Mark Warburton, [Chief Scout] Steve Watson and I have all seen him.
“We have a good relationship with Everton and have had good feedback on Conor both as a player and a person.
“Conor is a goal scorer.
“He is a player who can operate deeper if required and score from there and he can play in a 4-3-3 or a 4-4-2.
“He is a very versatile forward and I think he will add goals to our squad.
“He is a good finisher and doesn’t need many chances to score.
“We are very happy to get a player we have known about for a long time and we expect him to have a very successful loan spell, like Jake Bidwell and Adam Forshaw.
“I am looking forward to working with him.”
Mark Warburton, Brentford FC Sporting Director, added: “Conor is an exciting young player.
“He is very highly regarded at Everton.
“We have been tracking him for several months.
“He is well known to Adam Forshaw and Jake Bidwell and, like them, came through the Academy ranks at Everton.
“We are very much looking forward to welcoming him to Griffin Park and hopefully playing a role in his on-going development.”
Conor, who will turn 21 in August, has been with Everton since he was 11 and was given a squad number for the 2009/10 season, which started when he was just 16.
He made his Everton debut in December 2011 and has made two Premier League appearances as a substitute.
He had a spell on loan at Scunthorpe United in March 2012, playing three games for The Iron.
Conor has been given permission by Everton to play in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy and Capital One Cup.
Roberto Martinez, Everton Manager, said: "Conor has been doing really well in pre-season.
“He’s a boy that’s got a real talent and a real knack for scoring goals out of nothing and that’s something that in football is rare to have.
“For Conor, the next stage is to play some First Team football and we’ve got that opportunity to do it at Brentford, a setup that is very well run and manager that is going to allow Conor to develop.
“We are very happy to be able to allow Conor to go and play his football and to carry on his development in a very controlled environment and in a positive environment."
Goalkeeper Elliot Parish has signed a two-year deal at Ashton Gate.
The former England youth international, who played at the Under-20 World Cup in 2009, made a brief substitute appearance as a trialist against Rangers earlier this month before travelling with the first team squad for the recent training camp in Spain.
The 23-year-old then played a cameo role as a half-time substitute at Forest Green Rovers on Saturday, pulling off a couple of notable saves to keep City’s clean sheet intact and help secure a 1-0 victory.
Now the former Aston Villa and Cardiff City stopper, who worked with new Robins keeper coach Lee Kendall in South Wales, has beaten off competition from Dutchman Kelle Roos for a permanent deal.
Parish will now provide competition to fellow summer signing Frank Fielding for the number one jersey at Ashton Gate, and is also likely to be a regular starter for Mark O’Connor’s Under-21 side.
City head coach Sean O’Driscoll told bcfc.co.uk: “He fits the financial model we’re working to and we’re pleased to get it sorted.
“He’s a good size, a good keeper and one where there’s room for improvement.
“He wants to push Frank (Fielding) and I’d have no hesitation putting him in the team.”
Parish said: “I’m delighted to sign for the club, having been here for a number of weeks now.
“It’s a great club and although there was disappointment with relegation last season, everything is geared up to bounce back strongly.
“My aim is to challenge Frank hard for the number one jersey; he’s a great keeper and I’ll learn a lot working alongside him.”
The deal is subject to Football League and FA approval.
Steven Davies has become Blackpool's fourth signing of the summer, putting pen-to-paper on a two-year deal with an option for a third year.
The striker joins The Seasiders for an undisclosed fee from Bristol City and has been handed the number nine shirt at Bloomfield Road.
Davies, 25, made his professional debut with local side Tranmere Rovers back in 2005 and then joined Derby County three years later.
A memorable brace for The Rams came in a victory over Blackpool in March 2012, with the forward helping his side to a 2-1 victory.
Davies, who has also been known to play on the left-wing, joined Bristol City last summer for £750,000 and scored 13 goals in 38 appearances.
"I'm very excited," Davies told Blackpool's Official YouTube Channel.
"Obviously it's a great club and over the past couple of years its been fighting at the right end of The Championship.
"Especially coming from last year and being at Bristol and having a bad season, once I new Blackpool were interested I was keen to come down and talk to them."
The striker may have been part of a side that got relegated last season, but he still managed to find the net 13 times, which prompted interest from other clubs up and down the land.
"Bristol made me aware that there was a couple of clubs interested including a couple down south, but once I knew there was a club up north who were interested it was always my aim to come here so I could move my family back home so it was an ideal fit.
"To be fair I have actually done alright against Blackpool! I think I scored two at Derby against them and it's a club I've faced on many occasions and obviously I've come here and I know how good the fans are so it will be nice to come here when the fans are on my side."
Davies started out as a trainee at Tranmere and ever since leaving the Merseyside area has been a player that has been on Blackpool's radar.
"When I left Tranmere I went to Derby and Blackpool were interested then and then half way through last year there was talk of the club trying to get me in and thankfully this summer it has come off.
"I've done my pre-season at Bristol and I've had all my game time down there so it will be nice, if the gaffer chooses me on Sunday, to have a run out and actually meet all the fans and we'll we get right down to all the hard work next Saturday," added Davies.
Wigan Athletic are delighted to confirm the signing of Honduras international defender Juan Carlos Garcia, on a three-year-deal after the player agreed personal terms with the club.
The 25-year-old joins Latics on a free transfer after three years spent at native club Olimpia, the club former Wigan Athletic players Maynor Figueroa, Wilson Palacios and Hendry Thomas also represented.
Garcia becomes Owen Coyle’s eighth signing of the summer transfer window, and the Manager spoke of his latest acquisition, saying:
“Juan is a very talented player, a left-back, powerful and someone we’re very happy to be bringing to the squad.
“He scored a tremendous goal for his country not too long ago so it’s nice that he’s got an attacking mind in his locker, but obviously he’s coming in for his defensive abilities which will bring a lot to the group.
“Honduras internationals have a very good history at Wigan Athletic and we certainly hope he becomes another success story for us.
“It’s an area of the team we’re still looking to strengthen after a number of defensive departures at the end of last season, and we’re leaving no stone unturned in doing so.”
Garcia is still awaiting his UK Visa before he can team up with the rest of the Latics squad, but will become the fifth Honduras international to sign for Wigan Athletic, joining compatriot Roger Espinoza at the club, and will wear the number 23 shirt for the upcoming season.
Town have agreed a loan deal with Manchester United for Ryan Tunnicliffe that will see the midfielder stay at Portman Road until January.
The 20-year-old trained with Blues this morning and looks set to make his first appearance for the Club in the friendly at Notts County on Saturday.
Ryan, capped by England at U17 level, has progressed through the Academy at Old Trafford and was in their team that lifted the FA Youth Cup in 2011.
He spent six months on loan at Peterborough in the 2011/12 season, playing in their 7-1 win over Blues at London Road and clocking up close on 30 appearances for the club.
He had a brief loan stay at Barnsley last season as well as making his debut for United in their Capital One cup win over Newcastle.
Ryan becomes Town's 10th signing of what has been a busy summer at Portman Road.
“Ipswich is a big club but the deciding factor was the chance to work with Mick McCarthy,” Ryan told the Club website.
“He has managed at international level and worked in the Premier League for a number of years.
“My reserve team boss Warren Joyce knows Mick well and he said he is straight down the line and good to play for.
“I’m looking forward to it. The reserves at United is a good level but I need to be playing games where there are three points at stake. David Moyes is happy for me to go out on loan and I know they will be watching how I do down here.”
Ryan has two years left on his contract at Old Trafford but says he’s be happy to extend his loan stay at Town beyond January if all parties agree.
“If I’m playing here then I can’t see why I wouldn’t want to stay,” added the England U17 cap.
“I’ve got to get in the team first though and perform well. There’s a good squad here and I’ve got a fight for my place.”
Doncaster Rovers Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of former Manchester United defender Luke McCullough.
McCullough, who has represented Northern Ireland at various age groups, had been on trial with Paul Dickov’s side since the start of the pre-season.
After impressing in the training sessions and friendly games that he has taken part in, manager Paul Dickov has decided to secure Luke’s services on permanent basis.
McCullough, who has signed a two-year deal at Keepmoat Stadium, started his footballing career in his hometown of Portadown playing for local team Lockhall Youth. He then moved on to Dungannon Swifts where at the age of fifteen he was already representing the club in the first team.
After impressing at Dungannon, Luke went onto represent Northern Ireland where he attracted interest from scouts representing English Premier League giants Manchester United.
After weekly trips to England for various trials and training sessions Luke made the move across to England signing for the Red Devils Academy at the age of sixteen.
Luke’s progression continued whilst at United and he went on to captain the Academy side throughout the 2011/12 campaign.
Upon joining the club Luke told doncasterroversfc.co.uk “I heard Doncaster were interested in taking a look at me so I came across and I’ve not looked back since - I’ve really enjoyed every minute that I have been here.
“Pre-season has been tough but as the manager has said it will give us a good base to build upon going into the season.
“The manager seems to have a good plan and wants the boys to keep improving.
“The rest of the lads have been very friendly and have made me feel very welcome – there’s a good team spirit here.”
All the Napoli pictures look like they were taken at a 60th party in the Rovers Return. 12 million for Albiol is mad in contrast with what we let Arbeloa go back to spain for. Albiol's played about 10 seconds of football at Real, no way he's worth 12 million right now.
Hull City are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Ivory Coast striker Yannick Sagbo from French club Evian TG for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.
The 25-year-old has agreed terms on a two-year deal, and has spoken of his delight on completing a move to the KC Stadium.
“I am so happy to have signed for Hull City, and I am very grateful for the opportunity," he said.
"I can’t wait to get going, and I look forward to meeting my new team-mates this weekend.
“I want to show the coaches and the fans what I’m all about, but not just with my physical presence. I also hope that my mobility and technical skills can add to what is already a good footballing team.
“I was delighted when the call came through. I had a very good feeling from the manager, that he really wanted me to come to Hull. That feeling was mutual.
“I am excited to get started in the Premier League. It is a league that I’ve watched closely, and I know all about it. I’m looking forward to the challenge, and I aim to score many goals.”
Cordoba’s young attacking talent Fede Vico has had a move to Anderlecht confirmed today by Cordoba.
The 19-year-old’s work in the past two seasons with his local team had reportedly caught the attention of scouts from a host of Europe’s top clubs.
However, it is Belgian side Anderlecht who have picked up the left-footed winger, agreeing a €1.6m deal last week that has been confirmed today by Cordoba.
Vico, who has been capped at international level up to the Under-20 group, has signed a five-year contract to join the Belgian Pro League reigning champions.
"I'm taking a big step, leaving my hometown, my people, and I'm going to experience a different culture. My parents will come with me to begin with, but they'll have to leave soon because they have a life in Córdoba. My girlfriend will come as well. We'll see how we all adapt", he remarked.
He was Córdoba's star player and he is already familiar with what it is like to be in the media spotlight. He was studying business, but now he has turned to languages: "I've already got a very nice flat in the centre. The weather is going to be the only problem – I come from Córdoba and it's going to be a massive change. But I'm sure I'll settle in quickly. I'm studying a lot of English".
He is considered an authority within the young national team ranks. He plays it down, but it is clear when you watch them train. He has come of age with the Spain team: "The first one to call me up was Karanka with the Under-16s, and so far I've played at every level, including a few matches with the Under-20s. I've been here for a long time now. I might be one of the more experienced ones, but I consider myself just another member of the squad," assures Fede Vico.
Serbia central midfielder Luka Milivojevic has signed a five-year contract with Anderlecht after joining the Belgian champions from Red Star Belgrade.
"I am very pleased with the transfer and Milivojevic is exactly the kind of player we were looking for," Anderlecht general manager Herman Van Holsbeeck told the club's website (www.rsca.be).
"He will join the team in a few days and be presented to the fans and the media shortly upon his arrival in Belgium," said Van Holsbeeck.
The 22-year old playmaker scored seven goals in 36 league games for former European champions Red Star, the debt-ridden Serbian club who have had to sell their top players.
He has made three international appearances but is yet to score for Serbia, who have only a slim chance of reaching next year's World Cup finals in Brazil.
Anderlecht have qualified for this season's Champions League group stage while Red Star face Ukrainian side Chornomorets Odessa in the Europa League third qualifying round.
Derby County have swooped to sign England Under-21 international defender Adam Smith on a season-long loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur.
Smith, who is 22, will spend the 2013/14 campaign at Pride Park Stadium after Derby struck a deal with the Premier League outfit late last week.
After seeing John Brayford move to top flight new-boys Cardiff City last week, the Rams have acted quickly to strengthen their backline ahead of the new season and Smith will compete alongside Wales Under 21 international Kieron Freeman for a starting berth at right-back.
Smith, who has 11 England Under-21 caps to his name, is in line to make his Rams debut in Sunday’s 2013/14 Sky Bet Championship season opener against Blackburn Rovers at Pride Park Stadium.
He is Manager Nigel Clough’s sixth signing of the transfer window after the arrivals of Lee Grant, Chris Martin, Johnny Russell, Craig Forsyth and John Eustace earlier this summer.
Clough said: “We’re extremely pleased to bring Adam in on a season-long loan deal.
“He’s a young player with a lot of potential and we’ve been very impressed with what we’ve seen of him over the last few years.
“Whenever we’ve seen him in the Championship or on international duty he’s stood out as a very solid right back, and someone that likes to get forwards as well.
“As soon as we were aware John was going to leave last week we identified Adam as someone we would like to bring in, so to have the deal done within a matter of days is very pleasing and we’re sure he’ll be a good player for us.”
He added: “It also says a lot that Tottenham are prepared to let him spend the season with us.
“They’re obviously aware of our reputation when it comes to young players and there’s no doubt it’ll be a great experience for Adam coming here and playing a full season in the Championship.”
A product of Tottenham’s Academy system, Smith has over 100 Football League appearances to his name in the Championship, League 1 and League 2.
He has enjoyed loan spells at Wycombe Wanderers, Torquay United, AFC Bournemouth, MK Dons, Leeds United and Millwall, as part of his footballing education.
Smith has also made two first-team appearances for Spurs, once in the Premier League off the bench and from the start in the Capital One Cup.
He is highly regarded by the coaching team at White Hart Lane, who see his move to Pride Park as the next stage of his development.
Smith has also been capped by England Under 16, 17, 19, 20 and 21 level, and he also represented his country in the UEFA Under 21 Championships in Israel this summer.
Sunderland have sent French midfielder Alfred N'Diaye to Eskisehirspor on a season-long loan deal.
The 23-year-old only joined the Black Cats in January, from Turkish Super Lig outfit Bursaspor, and he made 16 appearances in the second half of the season.
But he failed to make a significant impression on Sunderland manager Paolo Di Canio, who has signed midfielders Emanuele Giaccherini, Cabral, El-Hadji Ba and David Moberg-Karlsson in the close-season.
The Wearsiders confirmed the deal with a brief statement on their official website.
N'Diaye, a France youth international who has represented his country at Under-21s level on one occasion, will now link up with an Eskisehirspor side who finished eighth in the Super Lig last season.
Chelsea signed him for €20.6 million (€20 million for Paulo Ferreira - problem with right backs?). New contract reportedly worth £1.7million a yearTrabzonspor have confirmed that Jose Bosingwa will join the club on a free transfer.
The Portuguese full-back left Premier League outfit QPR by mutual consent on Sunday, and has wasted no time in finding another club ahead of the 2013-14 season.
And he will now be unveiled to Trabzonspor's fans alongside former Chelsea team-mate Florent Malouda at the Huseyin Avni Aker Stadium on Monday.
Bosingwa enjoyed a five-year stay in England which began with a four-season stint at Stamford Bridge - where he won three FA Cups, one Premier League title and a UEFA Champions League.
He subsequently moved to QPR upon the expiry of his contract with Chelsea, but could not help his new team avoid relegation from the English top flight.
Bosingwa will now hope to help Trabzonspor improve on last season's ninth-place finish in the Turkish Super Lig as well as compete in the UEFA Europa League, after reaching the third round of qualifying last week.
The 30-year-old has been capped on 24 occasions by Portugual, but recently insisted he would not play for the national team while current coach Paulo Bento remains in charge.
Cardiff City can confirm that the deal to bring goalkeeper Simon Moore to the Club on a four year contract from Brentford has been finalised.
The 23 year old 'keeper kept 13 clean sheets in 52 appearances for the Bees last season, establishing himself as first choice stopper at Griffin Park and furthering his reputation as one of the highest rated young goalkeepers in British football.
Simon came through Southampton's academy and went on to play for Southern League side Farnborough Town before joining Brentford in 2009.
Speaking exclusively to Cardiff City Player on Monday, he said: "I'm delighted to be at Cardiff City - to play in the Premier League has always been my goal.
"It's exciting to think that I'll be working with quality goalkeepers like David Marshall and Joe Lewis on a daily basis and I know that I can develop and learn from them."
Malky Mackay said of his latest acquisition: "We have been watching Simon for a year or so - he is a real up-and-coming goalkeeper.
"My thanks go to Brentford for the way they went about their business and we are delighted to get Simon in for the start of our season.
"He is one for the future and we have three quality senior goalkeepers in our squad."
Arsenal have confirmed that striker Joel Campbell is to spend the upcoming season on loan in Greece with Olympiakos.
The Costa Rica international joined the Gunners in August 2011 but has been loaned out for the past two years to Lorient and Real Betis.
Betis had been keen to take the 21-year-old back to Spain for a second spell but it has now been agreed that Campbell will go to Olympiakos.
He will look to gain further first-team experience before coming back to Arsenal and challenging for a place in Arsene Wenger's side.
Campbell is a key player at international level for Costa Rica and has scored seven goals in 25 appearances since making his debut in June 2011.
CELTIC are delighted to announce the signing of Derk Boerrigter from Ajax on a four-year deal. And the Dutch winger will be available for tomorrow night’s UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie against Elfsborg.
The 26-year-old becomes Neil Lennon´s fourth recruit of the summer transfer window following the acquisitions of Amido Balde, Virgil Van Dijk and Steven Mouyokolo.
Boerrigter spent his youth career at FC Twente, where he was spotted by Ajax and joined the Amsterdam giants for the first time as a teenager.
Following a loan spell at HFC Haarlem, in which he made his competitive bow, he made the move to FC Zwolle on the expiry of his contract.
Benefiting from regular first-team football, the winger flourished at the Bluefingers, attracting interest from several clubs in his homeland.
Newly-promoted RKC Waalwijk won the race for his signature and he signed for them in the summer of 2009.
His impressive displays for RKC persuaded Ajax to swoop for his services for a second time two years ago, and he quickly hit top form in Amsterdam to earn his first call-up to the Dutch national side in November 2011.
Malaga have made official the capture of Polish Under-21 international Bartlomiej Pawlowski from Widzew Lodz.
The youngster flew into Malaga earlier this week and quickly passed a medical ahead of formalities on his transfer.
The Anchovies have today now confirmed that the 20-year-old has completed his move, which is in the form of an initial loan deal for 2013-14.
It is understood that the club’s confirmed option to then buy the player stands at around the €1m mark.
