John Henry seen earlier today:
explains why no money was forthcoming in the winter transfer window.
When he had Alonso he rather wanted Barry. When he had Arbeloa he rather wanted Dossena. When he had Skagger he rather wanted King. When he had Baros and Cisse he rathr wanted Crouch and Morientes. When he had Crouch and Morientes he rather wanted Torres. Rafa was obsessed with the ones he didn't have.... It was like fucking crazy.....
Clearly he wasn't picking the team, but excluding players who would have been deemed a serious risk to injure themselves if they played because of their current condition.
Which isn't all that mental really. We've seen managers fuck up careers by overusing players.
But isn't the case against him that Agger wouldn't play a lot if he made the calls?

You could be bang on the money there.
Just thought perhaps it was worth the punt. He know his footballers and most people around football respect him as a player and a person. Could give us an interesting positive spin for once.

We didn't slash the wage bill. It's around the same. It's nowhere near City's but as I said earlier in the thread it will be interesting to see what FSG blacken the names of those they sacked ....
I agree that he should be consulted. But if we built up a hospital there will alwways be people who have a say to defend that they actually have a position. We dont need 15 doctors, we need a few physios and a doctor to assist them... it seems things have gone a bit out of hand in that department.
