Possibly a mistake Neil, but much if this could be, TBH I'm happy they're backing him to the full, even if out it's just giving him enough rope, it means they're giving him more time.

Righty oh.

It'll be interesting to see if our wage bill has come down, i'd guess that it probably has by a small amount considering who we've loaned/sold off recently.

Depends on how much we're still paying for the ones we got rid of. I'd be willing to bet about 20m of our wage bill every year is dead money going to shit players we already got rid of.

We should get through that soon though.

Yes, I agree with that. Of course it could go wrong, and the owners could be backing the wrong horse but I'm just glad they are doing something to try to sort things out.

I take it everyone knows (contrary to rumours) that Natalie Wignall hasn't left the club today.

That's the lawyer I take it?

Looks like a right cold hearted bitch

So what does everyone think will happen when the final whistle blows for this season in Swansea. Kenny to be sacked or moved upstairs and maybe Dein coming in to find us a new manager etc?

I dont think Kenny will be our manager next season. And I think we'll invest quite heavily in tryIng to get back to the top. FSG clearly wants this done the right way and not a repeat of last years transfer dealings.

I think this is a statement of things to come and I wouldn't be surprised to see some ruthless culling of players, particularly Adam and co.

Liverpool target Johan Cruyff for senior role

By Ben SmithBBC Sport

Johan Cruyff is among the names being targeted by Liverpool after Damien Comolli's departure as director of football, BBC Sport understands.
Reds owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) have yet to draw up a definitive shortlist to replace Comolli.
But the Dutchman, 64, has impressed FSG chief John W Henry in his senior roles with Ajax and Chivas in Mexico.
It remains to be seen if Cruyff, who currently manages the Catalan national side, would be open to the approach.
