He's rested a fair few players, brilliantly ironic that arguably the hardest to replace player in their team then gets injured!

Who though? Schurrle and Ba. The rest seem to be injured, suspended or cup tied imho.
Dont think he's rested anyone tbh.

Atletico are playing into Chelsea's hands, pumping balls into the box in the air. Garcia's doing well though, but you have to hope that our big asset in running at back lines will be Chelsea's undoing, because they're always vulnerable to runners and quick movement around their box. Just don't expect to beat them in the air.

Where's all the famed Spanish gouging and stamping and cheating? Frankly, I'm disappointed.

Athletico are playing a bit like a 'Stoke' on a good day; some ok passing but they run out of skill/ideas on the edge of the box and end up lobbing high balls into the box. It feels like Chelsea could cope with this all night.

Law of averages says he will..

Btw why the change of pic Modo?

Promised that I'd change my avatar if Borini scored a goal which lead to a draw or win against either City or Chelsea.
They asked for Downing and I obliged.

@MartinLipton: He will get a 4-game ban tomorrow

Lipton usually is spot on with these things (Ramires)

What a terrible first half of footy. Chelsea with 10 men behind the ball and Atletico playing with a similar level of intensity as we did a few years back . Get to the penalty area and run out of ideas , Chelsea hoof away and repeat.

If Athletico are stoke on a good day, what does that make Chelsea's style of play?

Chelsea are defending with ten men, no wonder Atletico are having trouble finding any space inside the box.

In his last 5 appearances for Fulham against Liverpool Mark Schwarzer has kept two clean sheets. He's also conceded a 5, a 4 and a 3.
