I'd love for Stoke to go down but they won't.

They're in the thick of it now though and have gotta play Utd and Spurs in the next couple so there's chance for the teams below to catch em up. They look very unlikely to get a win or even more than a goal a game right now

Stoke has won just twice in their last 17 games. Unfortunately, we've the dubious honour of being one of those 2 clubs, the other being Reading.

Sunderland look doomed and listening to a fan on Irish radio he reckons they will be lucky to pick up another couple of points from their remaining fixtures.
Looking at the fixture list I can see why he would think that.
Stoke or Nemcastle would be my prefferred choice for going down.
Having said that giving out about Stoke's anti football makes me feel dirty in an Ardenal sort of way.

After 36 matches of this Premier League season, Newcastle United have taken 25 points fewer than they did from the same 36 fixtures last season when they finished fifth. Declining so much from one season to the next is relatively rare and has only occurred 15 times in the past 31 seasons and just once since 1995/1996.
