Why are Sevilla top seeds while Real Madrid are 2nd seeds?

I wonder who we'll get alongside PSV and Marseille.
 
They performed well in the UEFA cup for a couple of years. The rankings take into account all European games so they score quite well.

Ah ok cheers. They did win it twice on the bounce I suppose. I would have thought league standings would have been factored, though.

can't get both real and atletico in the same group. I actually wouldn't mind getting Madrid, draw away from home and then beat them at home. Would be a good night out in Anfield.
What reception do you think Xabi would get if we got them?

IF United were to get them, what reception do you think Ronaldo would get? Not great me thinks.

Maybe we'll get a little luck, can hope I guess.
 
Atletico Madrid are the ones to avoid. I wouldn't mind getting Real at this stage - the challenge might stimulate us. And two teams qualify, of course, so as long as the 3rd and 4th seeds are not too strong, I think we'd be OK.

I don't want Marseille again - I'm sick of us playing Marseille.

I've a feeling that United are going to get a tough group for a change - that'll see them struggle to qualify for the last 16. Us ? Haven't a clue.
