UK Daily deaths on 28 December was 357, I dont think it has been over about 750 on any single day in the last few months

By that analysis, the total deaths from Aids with no other illness ever, is zero. It'd also be impossible for about a third of all people to ever die from Covid (as thats roughly the percentage that have some underlying condition). It's literally the most pointless way to count deaths.

Something doesn't add up.
For example - the COVID deaths for today was 494. If you say the daily death rate from all causes is ~1700 then that means that COVID accounts for roughly 29% of all deaths today (or actually 2 days ago due to the lag in reporting). For it to be 0.3% of deaths then that would require the overall death rate to be 165,000 in one day, which clearly isnt the case
