he said "we did better than celtic did here", and that people were placing unrelasitically high expectations on teh club, so he wasnt going to add more on top of that

Firstly we shouldn't have made this mistake of appointing him.
Having made this mistake, it would be insane not to correct it when its clear to everyone that he way out of his depth.

He speaks and acts like a loser of the highest order. I want someone with a winners attitude please.....It is possible to think about being more patient with the results in that case.
 
I'm ignoring poulsen as it's not his fault he gets picked. I'll just concentrate on roy himself

There is "looking like mugs" in the middle of the season, and then there is "actually being mugs" at the end of the season. I think if we avoid the former, we will inevitably suffer the later.

The situation is what it is, we've brought in a stop gap, I doubt he'll be here next season but I doubt he knows his arse from his elbow regards the clubs current status, it's future or his own ultimate role, so he's trying to be the PR guy and the gaffa and is playing things down to the point of embarrassment. Shit happens, we're in a no win situation at present and so is he. Congratulations to all you cunts who called a spade a spade and were oh so forthcoming with your recommendations for who would have dragged us out of the shit while all of this was going on.

Oh yeah.

I'm fearful I got it very wrong in wanting Hodgson here and I'm certainly not going to blindly support him, but it's early days so far.

I want him to finish 4th-6th in the league and hopefully pick up a trophy along the way. Both of these are still achievable, so I'm going to give him time.

As is stands, though, things have to improve a colossal amount. I just hope he's up to it.

Although if the football is poor the least he needs to do is start getting the results.

As for Europe as long as we are still in it I won't be to hard on him.
 
I don't even expect 4th place.

I just want him to play his best players in their positions and try to motivate them.

He's bought reasonably well : I think Konchesky, Meireles and Cole were good or decent acquisitions.

Granted Poulsen looks like omegashit so far.

We still have some very good players left, utilise them as best you can and lets see what happens.
 
I've given up on fourth.
I've pretty much given up on results, I just want them to play like they actually train together.
