Chinese "Devil Virus" - anyone worried?

Oh fuck, Frog Xi Ping, the Chinese Communist Propaganda Puppet is back.

I see he's moved on from banging on about swine flu being "much worse" after getting told to fuck off by everyone.
Then he moved onto yummy pangolins and not bats being responsible for Chinese Devil Virus, actually (like that's OK then).

Now it's wet markets and how they're actually not that bad really, and actually probably Vietnamese!
The broken record, Brendan the Racist, who never makes ANY contribution to the thread other than trying to get his jollies by baiting is back. Yawn, what a fuckwit.

The standard flimsy disposable masks (4 hour use) have just arrived in Austria (with new Govt. instructions everyone must wear them in supermarkets). 10 million with 5 more deliveries planned.

Cost ? No not free and provided by the Govt. but 5 for €14 from the local chemists. Thieving bastards. We've 200 on the way from China (also sent the same, 200 per couple, to family & friends) and currently in Austrian Customs (there's been a flurry of emails as they try to work out if we should pay import duty on them). Cost to us for the 200 ? €15.

Tell us more about the bad Western Yankee Swine Flu, Comrade Frog Xi Ping!

Failing that, any yummy Pangolin recipes? Dantes has found a soup, but it looks a bit grim.
I may have to experiment with a suitable replacement meat, as it's not easy to get to a pangolin wet market from here. Did you say the closest one was Vietnam?

One of the anti-malarial drugs can give you frightening hallucinations. Like, giant spiders about to devour your face hallucinations. I don't think I would enjoy that.

I don't mean to quiff, but is that sort of list of side-effects similar to Larium and those prescribed anti-malarial drugs?
Because that stuff was hardcore. Gave up after a while, as Malaria seemed preferable.

Not sure.

Dantes posted it, so it could be a shopping list or his “to do” list to relieve weekend boredom.

One can never tell with Dantes.

Yes! Palpitations, anxiety attacks and violent, hallucinatory dreams.

That was Indonesia for me. Even before I started taking them! Amirite??

Mind you, it could have been a lot worse, as the Sari club was blown up a few weeks after we left.

This sort of thing will only accelerate them toward the inevitable violent uprisings which must take place.

The absolute state of this fucking idiot hahaha !

My brother in law has it. He probably got it to avoid being in quarantine for 2 weeks with his family. Now he's in quarantine alone. My cousin has it in Ireland, and if my aunt gets it from her, she's done, smoked for decades and just recovering from lung cancer.

My wife is done with spring break now. I've just decided I'm going to do a horrible job working. I can't be half paying attention to work, and half to my kid, it just doesn't work. I'm going to just set aside an hour, do something with him, tire him out, then check in at work and see what has burned down.

Fucking hell. They're fucked. We'll probably never know how fucked they are, but even 1% of 1.3bn is an insane number, & I'm sure the number of people at risk due to other medical issues are much higher there than elsewhere as well.

The police were handing out beatings to the local muslim population on their way out of the mosque on friday. It won't be a problem this week I suspect.

They are carrying death back home.... Villages with no hospitals and no ICUs, which have never seen a Chinese or American person will now be hit.. They don't know what's coming..

Fear not, the prime minister built a state of the art hospital for his own village, which has been sat redundant for years with no decent doctors wanting to go out to the middle of nowhere to practice medicine. At least now it will come in handy.

Why? Because it's clear god is dead?

They closed the mosques. Some mosques thought they could padlock the front door, then let everyone in round the back and nobody would realise. Don't ask. Someone ratted them out. The police rolled up, and waited round the back for them to all come out to meet their fates.

Yep.

I've made Luke cry twice today. Three times yesterday. I just can't stop winding him up. TBF he's an easy target cos his reaction to being bored is to be a whiney stroppy little bitch, so winding him up immediately became my favourite past time.

Ah - this is how my dad parented. This and asking every single girlfriend whether she was blind etc.

I am no longer baited by the bored racist idiot. I now just laugh like I used to laugh at the fuming idiots at the football forum. Hahahhahaha. My daily dose of laughter. Hahaha haha ha

Sadly, just more fake news from western state-controlled propaganda mouth piece. It's so sad that the media in the west is not free.

Firstly that picture isn't in the article I posted.

Secondly, are you stupid enough to try to tell me there are no wet markets operating in China today ?

Thirdly, even if that picture was in the article it doesn't mean the article is fake news - if the wet markets are not open its fake news.

180 new uk deaths. Either it's getting under control or we've got Chinese style figures coming out

I hope so, but it may well be noise. There's been a tendency for a weekend drop for most reporting... they end up getting pushed into the next week. I'm not sure why - I guess those doing the tabulation have off?

As long as you don't fly in ANY food I'm fine with it.

They dropped on Thursday too, before jumping up on Friday. Although I did read some extremely vague report about latest coronavirus news at the end of last week that mentioned as a one liner that the government had just given new guidance on how coronavirus deaths were to be ascertained, which did ring some alarm bells.
