I love this one. Stopped from playing because he wouldn't get vaccinated. Now he's being asked to return because lots of vaccinated players are out with covid.

A friend of mine just spent two weeks 'out' after getting rona following 2 vaccinations and a booster shot. He said if was rough - exhausting - but no hospitalization or close to getting there. Two weeks later, he just played 2 hours of bball with us ...
So yes, this vaccination didnt prevent the virus (he had 5 kids at home who were +, and I think that took its tool) but he likely would have been in serious shit had he not had his shots. So ... the shots "didnt" work but also "did" work.

I find it amazing that a clear vaccine failure is still believed to be evidence it worked.
