Chinese "Devil Virus" - anyone worried?

I love this one. Stopped from playing because he wouldn't get vaccinated. Now he's being asked to return because lots of vaccinated players are out with covid.
 
Just how many divine revelations from peer reviewed research will it take, how many sermons by devout experts will it take for you to believe in science? All of this dangerous nonsense you're so intent on consuming makes me think you're determined to go to hell. Get help. Reach out to your nearest university.
 
A friend of mine just spent two weeks 'out' after getting rona following 2 vaccinations and a booster shot. He said if was rough - exhausting - but no hospitalization or close to getting there. Two weeks later, he just played 2 hours of bball with us ...

So yes, this vaccination didnt prevent the virus (he had 5 kids at home who were +, and I think that took its tool) but he likely would have been in serious shit had he not had his shots. So ... the shots "didnt" work but also "did" work.

As we say in ladino, "bivir e ver" (the same language bourla's parents spoke)

Over here there are only 8% of the public over the age of 18 who are unvaccinated, yet 6 of 10 in intensive care in hospitals are unvaccinated.
Given you are 5-10 times more likely to get seriously ill without the vaccine.
You can roll the dice and say you wont get sick but I personally wouldnt when looking at the stats.
 
Soz but I'm with Dantes on this, your maths are out. Those figures mean that you're 15 times less likely to end up seriously ill vaccinated than not.
 
No, do not concern yourself with mathematics my child. Listen to the prophets, they have brought to you the good news, listen only to them for their word is the infallible word of science.

The numbers and stats are from the Norwegian Public Health service, presented by the Director of infection control. They’re correct.
6 out of 10 in intensive care is from the hospitals in South East Norway, where I live, so not representative for the whole country.

I find it amazing that a clear vaccine failure is still believed to be evidence it worked.
