Chinese "Devil Virus" - anyone worried?

There’s been a spike in Victoria in Australia - relatively speaking, it’s 19 new cases in a state of over 6 million.

The largest contributing factor to the spread appears to be big family gatherings - plans to remove restrictions further have been suspended.

Tough decision given that other states are opening relaxing restrictions - but the correct one, I guess.

Yeah but it's happening in the meat production gaffs innit. It can't be just about cooking it. It must be about the handling and distribution of it.

I don't think it has anything to do with the meat itself but more likely to do with the close quarters working conditions. Could happen at any assembly line type job.

We've had major outbreaks at meat facilities too and linked to work conditions. All it takes is one person - usually a low paid worker who can't afford to take time off if they are sick - and boom, out break.

This is why paid sick leave is essential.

Yeah there was an outbreak at a meat processing plant in Melbourne too.

But weird that it seems to be a recurring issue over many different countries.

We had a few linked to MacDonalds as well.

I'm going to speculate that bc food production is considered essential, there were fewer closes or pauses compared to other assembly line type work. Could be wrong, just a thought.

That fat fuck Greg Wallace has been following up his inside the factory show on bbc, sending remote operated cameras to heinz and typhoo etc. Not only have they not closed, they've stepped up production by 25-30% to cope with demand. Their excuse is people drink more cups of tea whilst working from home. Of course the fake news bbc congratulated them as heroes.

Same in Ireland. Often underpaid men from other countries who are unaware of their rights and an industry that has the current Government in its back pocket. Half the workers went down with it in one place and it didn't even close for a day.

I've heard that this is the reason why opioid addiction is so bad in the states, of course you'll know better than I do. People can't afford to take time off work so they take opioids in order to make it through the day and then they become addicted.

I'm sure that's a contributing factor in some cases. I would suggest that the majority of drug addiction - opioid or otherwise - is people trying to self-medicate for various traumas and mental health issues not able to be successfully addressed by the public healthcare system.

More effective and equitable access to mental health supports and providers as well as poverty reduction would likely decrease drug addiction rates significantly. People are hurting for various reasons and need help.

Down to 15 deaths now in todays daily figures. Thank fuck it's getting there, a zero day can't be more than a couple of weeks off hopefully.

That’s not the number to be looking at, arguably - new infection is.

Australia hasn’t had a death for about a month, but we’re starting to see increases in infections.

Infections go up - an increase in deaths will inevitably follow.

Not necessarily, not when you have Big D who is also inevitable.

Can't see those figures being reported by the fake news. Instead they seem to have hunted down the stupidest morons they can find for the day, then shoved them into an article with Big D as the headline. Perhaps their thoughts and feelings will get offended (revenues will fall) if their city's people come out in their thousands wearing maga hats before they've had the chance to finish milking the BLM narrative for all it's worth.

Phoenix Megachurch Hosting Trump Rally Says It Has Special Coronavirus-Killing Air System

RAY STERN | JUNE 22, 2020 | 2:32PM

Dream City Church, the north Phoenix megachurch set to host a Donald Trump rally on June 23, claims it has solved the pandemic problem in its auditorium, making it safe for anyone who wants to attend.
In a video posted on Sunday, Senior Pastor Luke Barnett and Chief Operations Officer Brendon Zastrow announce happily that the church has installed a new air-purification system that kills 99.9 percent of the coronavirus. The technology, they say, was developed by members of the church.

Most new 'outbreaks' appear to be happening around cold factory environments, especially in the UK.

Suggesting that it could be seasonal, and that a second spike around October/November could be expected.

Germany R number supposedly up to 2.88 though, which is worrying.

Has anyone tried this ?

It's a little concerning

I tried it, but what are you implying? That the whole virus thing is fake?

The odds that any 3 digit number has been the same number of corona cases or deaths in any given region (I tried it and got some random place in Wiltshire) of the world on any day in the last 5 months is quite high, no? Dantes?

Yes. You have 200 odd countries, reporting numbers every day for around 150 days. That's 30,000 sets of reported numbers. Even when you account for the clustering of numbers around certain values, and correlations between countries, the chances of anything between 0-999 being avoided are pretty slim. Especially when you drill down into individual regions and cities in countries.

Bastards are throwing numbers around like there's an infinite supply of them. Madness. We need someone like Greta on the case to tell them to stop it.

What's a red pill theory ?

I'm an admitted conspiracy theorist. I'll happily look into anything remotely plausible.

A truther thing... Matrix reference. Red pill know the truth, blue pill keep living like a sheep. Now closely associated with all the killory type stuff you're into

Tennis player and anti-vaxer Novak Djokovic confirmed with the virus. He'd organised a tennis tournament without the necessary precautions and a bunch of players who took part now have it.

I bet he'd take a vaccine now if there was one.

It probably wasn't so much the tournament, as it was the after party he held which infected the various drunk morons including himself.

If anything it's further proof that the virus was created by big pharma in order to sell more vaccinations.

The one name to look at is Alain Mérieux.

  • The strange saga of how France helped build Wuhan's top-security virus lab
MAY 31, 2020 BY KARL LASKE AND JACQUES MASSEY

The maximum-level biosafety laboratory at the Wuhan Institute of Virology was the first of its kind to be built in China, and has been the centre of huge speculation since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic which originated in that city. The laboratory, which is equipped to handle Class 4 pathogens (P4) including dangerous viruses such as Ebola, was built with the help of French experts and under the guidance of French billionaire businessman Alain Mérieux, despite strong objections by health and defence officials in Paris.

Looks like it's creeping back up across the states, thousands of cases, so i f these cases start turning into deaths, then surely they'll have to start locking the states down state by state.

Didn’t you know... Big D is going to save everyone.
