Haha weird. I was just about to link to The Atlantic.

They have about a dozen articles on C-19 that are definitely worth a read (and very disconcerting if you are an American). The article below says " You are likely to catch C-19. However there are many links (esp. at the bottom of the page) to more articles.

Yes, until I get infected and die. The 4% or 0.4% are population means, the average over everyone. But we're not everyone. We are one. If any of us get infected, it's either 0% or 100% depending on your physiology and genetics. There's no in between.

It might be the median. Which makes more sense to use for exactly the reason you figured out, yet eludes virtually every other clinical researcher.

The grant builds on Inovio’s existing partnership with CEPI, in which the company was granted in April 2018 an award of up to $56 million to develop vaccines for Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Lassa fever.

Inovio was able to receive the sequence of the virus from the Chinese authorities and designed a new vaccine in about two hours, according to Dr. Kate Broderick, Senior Vice President of Research and Development at Inovio.

I suggest you read the article Frogfish linked from The Atlantic, it answers your question about vaccine development & production time & talks about patents on vaccines (there isn't one, it's more complicated that that, obv).
 
Today I found out that the Bill Bailey gig which I was meant to go to has been postponed, the Irish ambassador's St Patrick's day bash has been cancelled and to top it all off the schools are closed for two weeks. So I'll have a 6 year old busting my chops about staying up late and watching whatever he wants on the TV.

This virus can fuck off.
 
Been looking forward to the Norway - Serbia play off game for months. Got two tickets in our corporate box through work, and had planned to bring along one of my KAM customers.
They decided tonight that the game will be played without any attendance.

I'm predicting all other European leagues will be cancelled within two weeks. The premier league may be behind closed doors for another week or two longer before suspending.

I work at large hotel full of Qatar flight crews and between 500 and 800 guests staying each night. I'm fucked.

Yeah. You're fucked!

I work in a building with about a thousand other people, so it's only a matter of time.

My mate will defo get it soon, very soon, works for the NHS & not only goes in & out of loads of medical centres & hospitals, but has meetings with loads of people who do the exact same thing all over the country too.

Summer can’t come fast enough now if what ‘experts’ are saying is true - that the virus don’t survive well in hot weather.

But then again there’s other ‘experts’ who are saying that this will last longer than SARS and may last till the end of this year.

One microscopic virus. Bringing all the nations to its knees. Who would’ve thought eh ? Great, big or small, it don’t matter. Shows no respect to no one too. Trump would do well to learn to shut his trap up.

First of all, it’s hot in Australia and parts of the Gulf right now.... Virus doesn’t give a shit! And secondly, ‘hot weather’ in the UK???? Lol

I may have had it and recovered already ! My mother-in-law had a cold/cough whilst we were in Wenzhou (neighbouring province to Hubei/Wuhan) for the Chinese New Year in January - my wife and I both caught it. Hmmm

The wife is my bet for the first in the family though, they've identified her ward as the first point of contact for confirmed patients in the area. Plus her chronically bad chest means I reckon she'll also need some ITU time too. Joy.
