Chicken Shop knife crime campaign is "racist"

A Government ad campaign to try and stop black teenagers stabbing eachother in London has been a bit controversial.

"knifefree" branding on 350,000 chicken boxes, with stories from real victimes of knife crime, have been distributed across the country and it has not been exactly universally praised.

Labour halfwit and part-time Thulsa Doom lookalike Diane Abbott called the government’s campaign crude and offensive. The shadow home secretary said: “[The Home Office] have opted for yet another crude, offensive and probably expensive campaign, they would do better to invest in our communities, not demonise them.”

That other moron David Lammy was even more apoplectic:

“Boris Johnson has already called black people ‘piccaninnies with watermelon smiles’. Now his government is pushing the stereotype that black people love fried chicken. This ridiculous stunt is either explicitly racist or, at best, unfathomably stupid.

What's next? #knifefree watermelons?"

The advertising trade magazine Campaign also claimed it was "pushing a racist stereotype"

This, after Patel and Johnson have been boosting stop and search, racial profiling and investing in prisons

Really know how to connect with the ethnic youts of Britain, the Tories. Mind you, they aren't their voters anyway, so what do they care?
