Chelsea Post Match Goodness..

I think it was probably because you used players like the 'Rolls Royce' of modern midfield players, Joe Cunting Allen, to fortify your point, thus totally invalidating it.

Brendan, you fucking clown, 4 weeks ago before the opening game you told us an attacking line-up of Mane, Firmino, Coutinho and Lallana "wasn't good enough" because we had "no goal threat or pace".

We scored 4 against Arsenal, and have taken the fucking piss with that line-up ever since.

If you're really gonna go there...

Perhaps we can all agree that you both haven't a clue what you are talking about.

Mane? He is entirely about goal threat and pace, which is why I was delighted I signed him.

I don't think it's also unreasonable to suggest that one of the reasons Lallana has moved back into a more midfield role is that he has no real pace or goal threat. Quite ironic that he's now scored two from a more withdrawn position. Hope that continues.

And finally, as I also said, Firmino needs to play with a proper striker like Sturridge, who is quick and scores goals.

I've said for a long time Lallana looked more threatening bringing the ball from deep at feet & making runs from deeper.

Even when he wasn't playing that well his runs were always very intelligent from that area.
