Just wondering if the axe was to fall on the Brodge these two seem the most realistic options. Whether or not they would come here is a different matter but if you had to pick.....Choose your hombre!

In the spirit of making the forum a better place and educating a footy fuck wit like me. Can I also ask why you would make the choice?

Ancoletti for me. I don't know whether we'd get either, & I suspect we'd stand a better chance of getting Klopp, but I'd prefer Ancoletti myself.

I'd seriously choose klopp as I believe he had the footballing brain (obvious to see), plays great football, eye for talent (or his DoF, either way they're a team), he would unit the fans, get them on his side again.

Nothing against Carlo, his record is phenomenal, not I just don't see fans warming to him as much as klopp. Now obviously results would determine that. Just think klopp would have that instant impact

I went for Klopp but only because he is younger and would probably be more in tune with FSG and how I think they want to run things. DoF and all that. I really know nothing at all about how each of them set their teams up.

I doubt FSG have heard of either. Can't see either of them accepting being summoned to Boston for a powerpoint presentation of their plans. I doubt FSG give a fuck as long as the cash keeps rolling in. After 1-3 at home to Palace which they were over for, the abortion at Wembley and the 6-1 they had every reason to make a change but they either don't care or lost their bottle.I can honestly see Rodgers being here until the end of the season.

I'd go with Klopp, simply to be able to witness the entire football world fall out of love with him.

Kopp because I think he would get us and we would get him. He's the right fit, we need some drive and guts in the club. Ancelloti would be good as well but Klopp would be ace.

The scary thing is if FSG finally get round to sacking Rodgers then go for a clone, we are really fuck ed then

Each might make a small difference, especially initially, but I doubt either on their own is enough to achieve what we all want.

as I explained in other thread, let me add, Klopp is just a fancy name for supporters because he is a popular figure. So if both are available, Carlo any time.

How do we accurately gauge how much of Klopps success was down to the setup around him?

Ancelotti has been successful in many places but always with real top teams.

Klopp feels right but could anyone seriously look at Ancelottis C.V. and say no?

Head says Carlo, heart says Klopp.

After the shite of recent, I think that FSG would play it safer with Ancelotti, but Klopp would rally the fans big time.

Klopp built a winning team on a shoestring. Don't be fooled by the cash FSG have made available, it's only been made available after selling better players for lots of money. The first step is keeping them then making shrewd buys to improve us.

Ancelloti is obviously a very good manager but he's only ever managed clubs oozing cash. In reality, I'd take either of them.

Fat Sam's on BBC2 now explaining where we are going wrong. Perhaps he's the man? He's explaining why he thinks Gomez should be dropped as the result changed on his foul

Hmm tough one, Ancelotti is used to working with great squads not our pile of 'promise'

Klopp was fighting relegation at Dortmund so anyone that thinks he will be an instance success is loopy.

I didn't realize this before, but Ancelotti has only won the league three times in his managerial career spanning 1995-2015: once with Milan, once with Chelsea and once with PSG. The only two major teams he failed to win the league with were Juventus and Real Madrid.

Smashing record in Europe though.

Whoever it is you will all want them out in 18 months anyway.
Unless they come with 600m to spend it wont make a fuck of a difference. Spending 20 to 30m net every summer is going to get us nowhere near.
