Bye bye Jude

Was it the Madrid President gurning about how they can’t compete financially without the super league?

Well, I hope it was worth sacrificing the season for this 19year old we are not gonna have now. Thanks FSG, THANKS Klopp. Now if and whenever we need a position filled i dont ever want to hear about another summer where we hold out for a player for next season, just buy what we need based on role immediately the 2nd best if we have to. Two times we have done this...Keita , and now Jude.

Two other times: Virgil and Alisson. It's a strategy which has its risks, but we've bought "what we need based on role immediately" before and got nowhere fast.

I have a feeling Bellingham will not finish his career at Real - he will want to play in England at some point.

At least we’ll not meet him in next seasons champions league

I really hope we do, although I wish Real Madrid all the best against Man City, I feel like we need to beat them, and I want it to be a fair contest. Klopp and FSG have really done a mega-fuck up by not signing last summer the players we really needed. I don't think the supporters should ever accept the reasoning they give in the summers past when they have not signed key players, leaving us pretty empty.

Does piss me off that Jude has gone to Madrid, hope he fails miserably. But can I just say - when I saw him against Chelsea in the CL, I thought he was shit - and could not help thinking that I really hope we don't pay that money for him. I think overall its a blessing in disguise, and whichever players we sign - I want them to be better than what Real Madrid have. Alexis is a good start as Argentina beat France in the WC (yes I now on pens but still beat them). So fuck those youngsters we got Curtis+Trent+ 2 Others that will fuck them up one day.

German media reporting that Bellinghams career plan was some seasons at Liverpool and then move to Real. As we dont have the money its Real now instead.

*cries

Bored with the Jude news. 2 years of being told we are signing him then being told we can't afford him and other signings. Had we looked after the MPV could we could have got the Ferrari. Let's look at getting the MPV fixed and learn from the mistakes. The MPV took us to the Promised Land before and it could do it again. Klopp Ugarte invest in new engine and we will be Thuramming it through the league.

If that was his plan, then really we should never have been in for him. We want LFC to be a players last and best, not come here to bolster their CV to goto fucking Madrid. So, we should be all happy for him a d Real Madrid.

The Bellingham story is so full of sh1t now, I don’t think we were ever in for him once the quoted fee was above £80 million. Now we hear that Real Madrid will get him for £110 million after Liverpool and others’ £120 million offers 🙄

This is something that hasnt been discussed, but the amount of games he's played at the age of 19 is insane. At what point does his body start to fall apart and the injuries pile up?

I have little doubt that he'll burn out by 30, but if he has a great decade in his career, does it really matter how old or young he is when it occurs.

Also, if he goes to City, I hope he breaks just after the window closes this summer.

"Bellingham's injury and the possibility of him undergoing surgery confuse Real Madrid's plan to end the deal. Dortmund did not transfer anything, and Real Madrid will request medical reports to find out the player’s condition, as it is not okay at all."
