And that is 2 assists by Aquilani. I dont bother to check but I assume it is at least twice as many as Lucas has managed the whole season! But of course we risk loosing if we play Aquilani.....

Oh "for fucks sake". Left backs don't score goals. Goals win games.

And with that Gerrard scores a stuffy arse goal.

But we've been through this before Sunny. I asked some interesting questions in that thread that were never answered or addressed - wonder why. Either way, it is a petty silly argument as all these positions are priorities. What is the point in bleating on about it?

We've already signed a striker for the summer, which leaves us with three senior strikers along with N'Gog and Pacheco (who everyone wants to be given a chance). At LB, if Aurelio goes as expected, we'll have Insua only.

And for the record, if was offered the choice of a LB of Evra's calibre vs some middling striker (we'll not be signing Villa now will we?), I'd take Evra.
[/quote]

You mean choosing between the best LB in the world (or around that level) and a middling striker - no brainer, is it.
I somehow doubt it that we can get a LB of Evra's calibre...

I wasn't arguing just making a little statement. You're the one who got the bee in your bonnet. So fuck right off with your bleating statement. I agree we need strengthening in many areas. Anyway Jovanovic hasnt signed yet and is an attacking midfielder. Ngog is shite and can fuck off. If I was offered a decent striker as opposed a middling left back I'd take that as well.

Carry on though, because every time I type a reply to you Gerrard scores.

I can't believe we have to wait until Burnley away at the end of April for our first away win of the season.

That is stretching the term assist to breaking point

It was bleating and Jovonovic will be a striking option.

We'll strengthen in both positions surely, and no worries, because Rafa has a fantastic record signing left backs and strikers.

I think he's been signed to play on the left.

Fuck off with your bleating shite, dickhead.

Jovanovic will be an "option" will he? Agger is a left back option then. As is Kelly and Ayala.

Yeah, he can play out left but he can also play up front, which is why I said striking option. Kuyt has been talked about as a striker in this thread even though he predominantly plays on the right for us.
