Boxing please

Nobody can finish a fight like AJ. Povetkin is a hard nut and was taken apart since the third.

I think this might have answered a few questions about AJ's chin. Povetkin caught him with a few excellent shots.

There seems to be a lot of AJ hate going round. I just don’t get it. Some is around him wanting Wilder next but that’s because he’d make more than double from that fight rather than going in against Fury.

I had AJ behind on points, as Povetkin just kept landing combos on him. But AJ is so athletic there was always a chance he'd clobber him. He just reminds me of Bruno, very athletic, very big and strong, but not much technical ability, and always trying to muscle his shots off and not generating the force from his feet. I still think Fury beats Wilder and AJ, he's massive, awkward and elusive as fuck, and can box.

I wouldn't quarrel with most of that, but IMHO it underestimates Joshua's willingness and ability to learn as he goes. That's why I part company with you on the final sentence: while I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Fury turns Wilder over (not after the way he beat Klitschko, though he'll have to make darn sure he stays out of the way of Wilder's heavy artillery) I don't think he'll get past Joshua in the end.

I think aslong as Fury is physically fit enough to box for 12 rounds, he comfortably beats AJ on points. AJ obviously has the power to KO anyone, but I've not seen him dish out a boxing masterclass ever like the one Fury put on Wlad. Everyone that AJ has fought seems to be stupid enough to get within range of him, Fury would not make that mistake.

Bellew the cokehead bum fighting again this weekend. Tbf I've hardly seen much of Usyk although I watched his last fight, but he looks pretty good, high intensity and accurate. Regards to his power, I've seen him ko people easily with big shots, big then hit other with loads of much bigger shots, not sure what to make of that, maybe those ones had iron chins.
If Bellew loses then surely he should retire, there's nothing else out there for him. If he wins, I'd expect him to call out AJ. Saying that, Usyk has said he wants a go at AJ if he wins.

I'm doing some work with two blues at the moment & they're both going to watch the bellew fight.

They're just as myopic & idiotic about him as they are about their club.

"He's fucking boss lad, best boxer going lad" "True blue so he'll knock anyone out"

It's quite scary really.

Usyk is a BEAST. Defo now one of my favourites. Obvious Bellew would get clobbered.
Never been a massive fan of his to be honest but always want liverpool fighters to bring belts home. Hes all gob. But what blue isnt. Got taught a lesson tonight though

Get a bird who loves you the way Tony Bellew loves the massive Ukrainian who just knocked him the fuck out

Most birds will love you that way if you've just earned 4mill quid for 8rounds work

Tony - sorry Anthony - Bellew's bird loves him so much that she got very upset after the fight and called a bloke working at the Manchester Arena a "fucking queer" and a "dirty fucking fag" in front of their three sons, Coby, Corey and Carter.

Presumably Cunty was at home with the babysitter.

Class that.

Mikey Garcia coming up in weight to fight Errol Spence. Fair play to him, but I think he's too small for 147, especially against the very best in Spence.

I'd have liked to see Lomachenko facing Garcia a lot more.

Hearn keeps banging on about the offers he's made to Wilder for April, and these two deals etc etc and that the fight has got to happen blah blah blah, but he seems to be forgetting the huge task he has infront of him the weekend. Hearn talks like there's zero chance he loses his belt this weekend, the bookies seem to have it wayyyyy closer than he does. 8/13 Wilder, 13/8 Fury.

If Fury is back to the guy that tied Klitskho in knots, then it’s very close, and Fury would even be favourite from my perspective. Nobody knows if that guy still exists. Intriguing fight.

Fury's a fucking boring fighter and his win over Klitschko was awful to watch. I like boxing with lots of big punching and knockdowns, not some huge dancing bear grappling and spoiling.

I'm not saying it is exciting, but it is a valid way of boxing at that weight, and there have often been champs who fought in that more pragmatic manner.

Not sure what's wrong with Whyte and Chisora or whether they bat for the other team like AJ etc, but one is telling the other that he's going to ride him until his legs go, and the other one is saying that he's going to go through him like a laxative that comes out of his arse.

I have to say, I was really impressed by Fury in his interview with Joe Rogan. I think he has the potential to be a proper pioneer for highlighting mental health issues. Hope he knocks Wilder the fuck out.

Heart wants Fury to win but head says if Wilder lands one of his right hands it’ll be lights out for Fury.

Wilder’s power is up there with the likes of Tyson and Foreman. But then again, Fury can box like a southpaw so this may catch Wilder off-guard. 39/40 KO isn’t a joke though. It’s gonna be an interesting one.

Fury draws after getting sloppy and caught in the 12th. Still probably should have got the result. Whatever you think of Fury, he has yet again shocked the world of boxing. The man was a 28 stone drug and alcohol abuser 18 months ago.

He was fucking robbed. Sure he got knocked down twice but apart from that he easily won eight maybe 9 of those rounds. Totally dominated the fight and if that fight had another 30 seconds Fury would have had him. Wilder was in struggle town. Fucking typical! Same thing happened to Lennox V Holyfield. The judges and the ref were a fucking shower. Bent twats.

Wilder is absolute dogshit. I can't really make an argument for him winning a single round outside the 10-8 knockdown rounds, which he was also losing. Schooled start to finish. He needs to go and learn some amateur boxing and go down to cruiserweight, AJ would have literally banged him out of there round 1.
