Boxing please

I think it pan out similar to last time, Froch to stop him in round 10 or 11.

Anything could happen though, thats why this fight is so fascinating.

It wouldn't suprise to see some dodgy decision to give Groves the win this time purely have a money spinning 3rd fight decider.

I'm hoping Groves knocks him the fuck out. I'm also looking forward to Anthony Joshua again, looks about the best british heavyweight we've got already.

Gutted. Great shot, but wanted Froch knocked out. Hadn't looked like finishing his dinner before that shot. Hopefully he'll get Andre Ward next and get his arse handed to him. Groves is going to have to start working his way up again with two back to backs on his record now.

Very good fight. Cotto is one of my favourites. After getting put on your arse 3 times int he first round its incredibly hard to recover. Whether his knees were playing up or not, Martinez looked incredibly flat footed and got outclassed by the smaller younger man.

So clown heavyweight fight is off then. A proper pair of arseholes, they could both do with getting a savage ko, fury just edging it in the need for one.
Feel sorry for the fans the that had paid to see it, they're not going to get any refunds on the tickets, hotel, transport at this late a date.

So...Frank Maloney, eh?

Or should that be Kellie???

I just can't believe this. It feels like some massive windup. Good luck to him though and fair play for having the balls to come out with it, whilst he's still got them.

So, Norn iron's new hands-across-the-barricades hope, Carl Frampton fights tonight. Anybody going to be watching?

Lol. No, I actually did just watch the film Godzilla with Bex.

Now watching mccullough v the tiny Russian on the undercard after watching the last couple of sets of Federer v cilic in the US open.

Just finished watching it now.

Helluva performance from Frampton, he taught him a lesson, I actually thought he held back far too long, showed him a little too much respect, could have probably knocked him clean out somewhere after midway point.

His trainer would be made up though, stayed to plan perfectly & really looked the business.

Also, I hate boxnation, it's like talksport are running a boxing channel.

As a further aside, both marko mccullough & Carl Frampton have their own name tattooed on the nape of their neck. That's just fucking wrong.

Frampton made a tough world champion look pretty ordinary (if hard as nails). He was imperious. This lad can go onto be a great if he keeps his head screwed on, something I think that is virtually guaranteed with the guidance of the McGuigan camp.

Mayweather claiming he's doing 2 more fights after this weekend and that's it. Lets hope one of those is not Khan.
IF he retires on the back of these last ones, and wins them, he'll surely have to be classed right up these with the greatest of all time. I'm not keen on his style (nor was I on Lennox Lewis) but he is brilliant, there's no doubt about it, he's battered everyone.

Should be another comfortable win for him.
I wouldn't mind him fighting Khan, he won't fight Pacquiao(he doesn't want to get hit), at least we might see a KO, Mayweather hasn't won by KO since Ortiz.
Who else is there for him to fight? All will be too easy. The ones with power won't be quick enough and/or won't throw enough to bother him.
I do enjoy watching him make the opponent miss.

Mayweather said post fight, he'd be up for fighting Pacquiao after he was questioned about it.
Then not much later, on ESPN, he gave demands he knows are unreasonable.
Coward.

Yeah, decent fight. He's pretty quick but has power too.

He'd be a handy lad to keep in your pocket in case someone kicked off on a night out.

Watched the fury hammer build up fights, the fury fight & then Frampton. Good night of boxing.

Yeah pretty busy, but nothing too mad. One of the backers of the fight flew 50 people in from London and had ice sculptures and loads of Grey Goose & Laurent Perrier brought in. That was pretty interesting.

The singing to cheesy songs was boss.

In related news, that Hammer fella who Fury fought didn't have Hammer Time as his ringwalk tune. That's a crime.

The only fight I got time to stop and watch was Frampton so I missed all the other stuff, I did hear the singing leading up to the fight though and it was pretty good.
