Roach did admit he might have trouble keeping control in Pacquiao's corner during the fight - especially of assistant trainer Buboy Fernandez.
"Buboy is supposed to repeat what I say in Philippine," explained Roach. "I'm not sure that's what happens sometimes, because he talks a lot longer than I do.
"When Manny was fighting Miguel Cotto, he was getting hit on the ropes and Buboy started crying.
"I was thinking: 'I've got one guy doing what I told him not to do and another guy crying.' It does get a little funny sometimes."

Apparently Mike Tyson has called Mayweather delusional over his Ali comparison. Now that's a spat (outside the ring) they could sell tickets for. 😎
 
I know nothing about boxing but I've had 2 lucky betting wins this week so far so am hoping for a third stroke of good fortune..........£10 Pacquia to win between rounds 7-9 @ 16/1

I don't doubt that for a minute Ijg but I wanted a bigger price than those offered for either fighter winning on points.
 
I got £30 of free bets with Paddy Power, if I bet £10 as a welcome bonus.

Placed bets on:

- both fighters to win on points.
- a split decision for either boxer.
- a majority decision for either boxer.

I'm banking on it going 12 rounds.

You've took the best rounds really (and highest backed). You'd have thought it'll either be points, or Manny stopping him at the arse end of the fight. If Mayweather is behind (good chance) going into the 2nd half of the fight, then he's going to have to come out and actually fight instead of being his usual fanny self, so then the opportunity is there for Manny for a stoppage.
 
He'll need to play it canny if that's how things pan out. Mayweather's not known primarily for big hitting, but he can dig all right. If Manny senses an opportunity and that tempts him into carelessness, it could yet be he that gets KO'd.
 
Ok, just found out the cable is shit for ppv cos it only has blurry vision (sd) available, so I've bought 24 hour sky access for a quid. This fight best be good, making me spend my hard earned.

I've got double redundancy, recording it from my hd stream, sky box office hd & virgin ppv, so I'm hoping I'll be able to watch it at 7am once I've had a cup of coffee Sunday morning!
