Blasphemy. Nobody touches the king.
Comparing Sturridge & Borini is madness.
Simply because even with Sturridge having a less than stellar reputation there's no way he'd have come here knowing full well he would be third choice.
No striker who was a proven goalscorer would do, unless they were at the twilight of their career (in which case you could probably argue their wage demands & possibly lack of energy to track back would rule them out), so I honestly struggle to believe we'd get an option much better than him without spunking a lot of cash & ending up with someone who may not possess the desire we would aspire to.
