Banana and Benteke

I'd take that for both of them, but I highly doubt anyone is actually going to pay those sums for those players.

Benteke doesn't fit, and I don't think Klopp rates him, so I'd really take anything we can get for him.

Lallana's fucking quality and I'm a massive fan, but he's 28 and we're never going to get offered that sum again. I don't think Klopp would sell though; he suits the high energy game Klopp likes.

25 mill for Benteke could happen. His wages are an issue though.

I dont think Klopp will sell Lallana and the link from the cuntrag of a paper.
So its probably as true as Maradona to make a shock comeback.

We all know Benteke will be sold and probably has a decent resale value. If Spurs really want Lallana I'd swap him for Erikson.

25+ for Benteke is excellent business - yay.
20 for Lallana is probably excellent business too - but I actually think he's a really good player to have in our system. Starts 15-20 games a year, on the bench the rest.

I hope she does Like a Virgin

I wouldn't sell Lallana, he is approaching his peak years and he is a very very good player...

Next season you will see a Fantastic Player..

There is no way we would sell to Spurs, particularly if we make Champions League, why weaken the squad??

Benteke on the other hand, can do one..

Yeah I've heard that before...

He has been brilliant since the turn of the year, if that is anything as a bench mark.. One of our most improved players under Klopp.. I just would't sell him.. especially to a Rival..

If we're offered over £20 mill I wouldn't even hesitate.
It's all about who we replace him with cause if we don't get Reus or whoever I'd keep him.

Tough one. Wouldn't be in favour of strengthening two teams who are likely to finish above us this season with players who clearly fit their style of play.

Benteke I'd sell because we won't be spoilt for choice.

I'd keep Lallana or sell elsewhere.

45mill for those pair? Yay all day long.
Benteke isn't being used properly although I still think there's plenty of goals in him, and Lallana is a very good footballer but doesn't have enough end product for me.
I'll be annoyed if west ham pick one of those 2 french strikers up for 25mill as they both look very good.

Lallana works well in our system, he is a very busy player and performs the press as well as anyone else in that front 4-6. Spurs don't play that differently to us, so it stands to reason that he would work very well in their side too. So I wouldn't be selling him to Spurs, I would expect a dip in performance from them next year as the other big clubs get their houses in order so Spurs are going to be a direct rival or thereabouts for us.

Lallana gets a lot of stick for his output, but he's on 9 goals in 45 league appearances at the moment. If he carries on that scoring rate to the same number of appearances he had at Southampton he'd be pushing 43 goals (48 goals in 213 appearances at Southampton) - so we have actually pretty much got the player we paid for.

I'd keep him. There's a place for Lallana in this team provided the other wing is strengthened to the correct degree.

Benteke is just the wrong type of player. He's wrong for a Klopp team and he was wrong for Rodgers, bizarre signing really (had we not learned from Carroll or Balotelli?!) Benteke can go, he's too valuable as a saleable asset to keep on the bench/fringes.

Goals are not the only measure of quality FFS. Benteke I would sell because - though I rate him in the right setting - he's not suited here. Lallana, though, I wouldn't - he's an important part of our attacking set-up, he works his bo11ocks off and he'll make Tottenham even stronger if he goes there. The very fact that it's they who are said to be after him should be ringing loud warning bells for anyone who wants rid.

West Ham have absolutely no excuse not to pay his wages seems as they're practically tax payer funded thanks to that joke of a Stadium deal.

I’m usually not in favour of selling our better players as we usually replace them we shite.

Though hoping things may change under Klopp.......

What would klopp do with 25 million?

Lallana has been fairly intergral to the way we've played, especially when we've had the three pronged attack of him, Firmino and Coutinho. Yes, his output isn't as high as it could be, but his contribution to the way we play shouldn't be understated either.

The ideal situation is that he stays and instead of having someone like Ibe or whoever coming on and looking well out of their depth, we have someone like Lallana who can step in and play a part whenever we need him to. If we buy another attacker and also with Ings and Origi returning, competition for places will be high, but it also means our quality will be also.

Overall he's been a good signing. There seems to be this myth with support attackers that, unless they're hitting 10+ goals and assists every season, they're a failure, people need to look at the stats of similar players in other top teams. Of course, you always want someone of real top Worldy quality who will weigh in with more than most, but put it this way, for all the adoration they've had in years gone by, I'd have Lallana any day of the week ahead of the likes of Nasri and Navas. His price might have been inflated, but he shouldn't be weighed down by that anymore (certainly not by certain fans who just won't let it go).

he's been a key player at times and deserves alot more respect for his ability and also his desire to do well for us.

Benteke I have sympathy for, as I've said before, but he has to go this Summer.

I'd sell Benteke, I'd even go as low as taking 20mikl but I wouldn't sell Lallana. He does a good job, he works extremely hard and fits Klopps style perfectly, plus selling him to Spurs would be helping them, plus Lallana is well liked within the squad.. don't want to disrupt the playing group.

Benteke, yes. We never should've bought him in the first place, let alone pay that ridiculous fee for him. More importantly it's clear that he doesn't fit into Klopp's system. 25 million for him would be aces. I can't see us getting that though.

Lallana I'd keep. Klopp likes him and to be fair, Lallana has been playing his best football at Anfield recently. I can only put that down to Klopp getting more out of him than Rodgers could.

After the way Daniel Levy tried to meddle in our Ings deal, I wouldn't sell any player to Spurs, and certainly not a player who'd improve one of our rivals.

Interesting you bring up Navas, the guy has 7 assists in 23 league appearances but hasn't scored a single goal. In contrast, Lallana has 6 assists and 4 goals in the league this year so he's actually hit the "perfect 10'. I know who I'd rather have.
