he's a legend -
Mario Balotelli was born in Palermo, Sicily, to Ghanaian immigrants Thomas and Rose Barwuah. The family moved to Bagnolo Mella in the province of Brescia, Lombardy, shortly after he was born.[6] As an infant, he had life-threatening complications with his intestines which led to a series of operations, although his condition had improved by 1992. Mario's health problems and the family's cramped living conditions meant the Barwuahs decided to ask for the help of social services who recommended that he be fostered.[6] In 1993, the Barwuah family agreed to entrust the three-year-old boy to Francesco and Silvia Balotelli,[6] with the legal move formalized by the Court of Brescia.[7] When Mario Balotelli became famous, his biological parents asked for his return. He later accused them of "glory hunting", stating that they only wanted him back because of the prominence he had gained.[8] According to Law 91 of 5 February 1992,[9] Balotelli had to wait until his 18th birthday to request Italian citizenship, as the Balotellis had not adopted him, and he officially gained citizenship on 13 August 2008
There was no hiding the naked truth from Manchester City hero Mario Balotelli, who was caught laughing at a porn magazine while shopping with his girlfriend Raffaella Fico in Manchester City Centre.
The 21-year-old was pictured picking up the XXX rated mag, and couldn't resist sneaking a quick peek inside.
The striker seemed to be sharing a joke with the gorgeous Raffaella, who had been out shopping with the Italian international.
We're not sure if his model girlfriend found it funny, but a male companion he was traveling with certainly did.
Balotelli has been in high spirits all week after City demolished rivals Manchester United, 6-1.
Some Twitter gossip even suggested the Blues forward was driving around Manchester in a convertible Bentley high-fiving City fans the day after bagging his famous brace.
The former Inter Milan, who was at the centre of a fireworks controversy the night before the big derby, celebrated his first strike by revealing a t-shirt showing the words, 'Why Always Me?'
Yes Balotelli, why is it always you?
Mario Balotelli is facing an internal investigation and possible disciplinary action by Manchester City after breaking a curfew ahead of the game at Chelsea on Monday night, in the latest example of his apparent inability to conform to rules and stay out of trouble.
Balotelli was seen in Zouk, a city-centre restaurant in Manchester, in the early hours of Sunday, despite clear instructions from the club not to go out within 48 hours of a key fixture for City's title chances. City have confirmed a curfew was in place and Balotelli can expect to be summoned to give the manager, Roberto Mancini, an explanation. The 21-year-old was not drinking but was out beyond 1am and Mancini does not want to promote the idea that there is one rule for Balotelli and one for the other players.

Mario Balotelli and Micah Richards in training ground confrontation
• Manchester City pair were pulled apart by team-mates
• Incident happened during training ahead of Arsenal game
Mario Balotelli's remarkable penchant for embroiling himself in controversy at Manchester City has resurfaced in the form of a training-ground confrontation with his team-mate Micah Richards.
The two players clashed towards the end of a practice match preparing for Sunday's game against Arsenal. Witnesses reported that words were exchanged before the two players squared up.
Richards, in particular, seemed aggrieved by what had been said and the defender had to be restrained by other players as he sought to prolong the argument.
The incident has been described as "minor" behind the scenes at City, where it has been stressed that it was quickly forgotten once the players had returned to the dressing room. Richards and Balotelli get on well and are understood to have shaken hands.
It will, however, be added to the increasingly lengthy list of misdemeanours involving Balotelli at a time when the manager, Roberto Mancini, has spoken openly about being exasperated about the striker's apparent inability to conform.
Balotelli's form on the pitch has been undermined by a series of off-the-field incidents that has left City's management wondering how prolific he could be if he were to be more devoted to the sport. Instead, the man who revealed a "Why Always Me?" T-shirt after scoring the opening goal of the 6-1 thrashing of Manchester United is someone Mancini believes has stayed too young too long.
Balotelli, to put it into context, is currently living in a city-centre hotel after his country house was set on fire when he and some friends set off fireworks through a bathroom window on the eve of the United derby.
Among other issues, he also had to explain to Mancini before the 2-1 defeat at Chelsea on Monday why he had broken a curfew and was seen out at 1am in Manchester city centre on Sunday. While the latest incident is unlikely to lead to any form of disciplinary action, the frequency with which Balotelli finds himself in trouble demonstrates, again, why this is a player who can infuriate his manager.
There is also an unwanted sense of déjà vu for the Premier League leaders, with a number of similar incidents breaking out at City's training ground over the last year.
Balotelli himself was involved in two of them, lashing out at Jerome Boateng after reacting badly to a challenge. Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Touré were photographed rolling around the floor during another fight and, with Balotelli also photographed clashing with Vincent Kompany in May, the various issues have fuelled a perception that Mancini has assembled one of the more combustible squads in the top division.
City say this is not the case and that these kinds of incidents happen at other clubs – the difference being that photographers can get easier access at their Carrington base because of a public footpath that runs by the side of the pitches. The club are putting up new fences in an attempt to keep out the cameras.
