I've not watched Bayern much, but jesus their passing is a joy, they laugh at being pressed.

It's going to be massive for us having that option available from both sides, Salah and Mane are going to terrify teams.

Racist. You're as bad as the commentator.

Edit: for those with good commentators, our nobhead on itv just made a bad pun about Mane being lightning, & when he runs at you, very frightening.

We're really struggling to get the ball off these. Their passing is immense.

Are these ahead of us in terms of training?

We see it from the other side now, those two are going to run riot.

Great play from Moreno too, or Mourinho as the commentator thinks.

This feels like a really competitive game.
It's definitely a higher tempo than your usual pre season match.

Bayern started pretty professionally & I suspect Klopp has a bit of pride on the line being back in Germany so asked the team to treat it like a normal match.

They're even throwing in full blooded tackles.

It's against these top quality sides that our midfield looks ordinary. The PL doesn't really have many great midfields, and largely our midfield is competent enough to handle most match-ups there.

You can see why Klopp was so desperate to sign Keita.

Our front three is Firmino, Sane and Salah. Seriously this cunt is probably earning five figures for this match, fucking ridiculous.

Yeah, I was just wondering if they were a week or two ahead us schedule wise, cos that extra week training can be the difference between a bit of sharpness on the pitch, as we've seen many times.

If they're not, then it does indeed just highlight the need to improve there.

We are really struggling to hold on to the ball in the middle, we're great on the counter and in the final third, but we're going to struggle to hold any possession with this midfield is seems, maybe Gini will be an improvement, but it doesn't bode well for us in Europe this year.

Can and Henderson is a bit of an agricultural midfield tbh. You should really only be fielding one of them.

Wijnaldum will be a better option in Europe for sure.
