Glad that half ended, they were increasingly likely to score there. Agger doesn't fill me with confidence at all. Toure`s about 3 or 4 inches smaller, yet is more dominant.

Kolo needs to calm the fuck down when the ball comes into the box. This manic jumping into people's backs is frightening the shit out of me.

This is just when we'd need something different in midfield. Lucas is ok at home or when we are dominating but we need someone to boss the fuck out of matches in tough away matches.

Our midfiled as a unit is doing that. We need more attacking power.

That 2nd goal is always our problem, then we tighten up and allow the opposition back into it, often helping them along the way... That last 10 minutes was scary.

If we grab no. 2, we should be ok, but we're not creating much - as normal. PC and DS trying to do too much quite often so far. Give Aspas another 15 to do something, then get Sterling on. If we keep sitting back, we will have trouble.

This could be huge. Or it could be a big kick in the bollocks before the scum arrive next weekend. Important 45 minutes coming up.

I endorse Sterling for Aspas.
I furthermore endorse Borini if Coutinho doesnt shape up.

I know it sounds negative but Id pull Aspas and stick Allen in, move Coutinho to the right. Their left back is booked plus it means if Coutinho loses it he's in a less dangerous position than he is currently. Two or three counters have come from him dwelling on the ball and he's too good to take off.

Agreed. Gerrard and Lucas are comfortable. But, there is danger on the counter-attack with Enrique and Johnson so far forward. We are giving the ball away cheaply - even though our possession stats are good.

Agree with this.

Sterling for Aspas yes but I'd be very hesitant to sub Coutinho. I have a feeling he'll pull a rabbit out of his hat any minute. Also it was very much because of him that we scored.

I'm liking what I see despite the fact we are not even fully switched on yet. Lovely to watch. Coutinino has been pretty good. Not electric mind. Borini instead is just mean. Kolo is a little eager but has been solid in many udder ways. Watching this game on an iPad in Vegas. Thank you NBC!

'foul three, you don't see many of those in the premier league'

Almost every throw is a foul throw, they're just not given.

Coutinho slightly barged and goes down when ball was out of play.

Id like that to be his catalyst.

free kick given away five yards out from the box.

Thought Gerrard had done well with Agbonlahor, Aspas then fouled
