It is being reported Aspas has signed a 3 year Deal with Sevilla (through the player himself)

Liverpool expect to recoup the majority of the Transfer fee..

Anyone like to put together a youtube clip of his best moments in a Red Shirt ??

[article=http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-fc-manager-brendan-rodgers-5100770]'Iago works hard; he's got a trick in and around the box and he excites supporters,' he said.

'He's a good guy and he works very hard for the supporters.

'He drifts well in between the lines and always wants to receive the ball but what I like is that he wants to score goals.

'He's looking to create and combine or go solo by himself and get a shot in.'[/article]

Small miracle if true

I haven't been following his progress over there, but if he's done well for them (which he presumably has) is it that much of a surprise really? It isn't as if we paid lots for him in the first place.

Rodgers probably offered to pay them extra for Moreno, then have them use the money to buy Aspas, but do it a year later so nobody notices, then walk around pretending not to be shit at transfers.

Comments made after the Celta Vigo game...

Iago Aspas: "Esta es mi casa y espero volver algún día. Yo tengo 3 años de contrato con el Sevilla y tengo que ganarme el puesto allí"

Translated..

"This is my home and I hope to return someday. I have three years of contract with Sevilla and I have to earn my place there"

How do we end up with shite in the squad time and time again?

I thought it was great that Rodgers was so quick to get rid of the shite he inherited but it almost cost us Henderson, then he quickly started accumulating shite of his own starting with Borini.

Every manager we get seems to have a problem position, is Brendans going to be signing forwards?

I would argue that one of the few good signings Brendan has made was a forward.

Left back would be my vote for the the most problematic of Brendan's problem positions.

True, center back doesn't look too pretty either.
