And Benteke's presence is the main reason why Arsenal's central defence has been bricking it.
He's giving them a torrid time with his physicality.
I'm very impressed with Benteke. This lad can play.
We pegged Arsenal back in the last 20 mins, but the trouble is we sat back and gave their midfield too much space in the first quarter. That's a recipe for disaster against Cazorla. Can has been guilty of being too languid - he's not closing down quick enough. Milner has really brought us back into the game with his grit. That and Clyne's individual defending. Need to do more of what we did in the second quarter. More aggression and more pressure through the centre.
Good stuff so far. Gomez looks a fine prospect, with terrific balance on the move, but he must learn to look up when clearing the ball. Benteke gets better with every match.
We look as if one of the coaching staff spent the summer looking at old corner kick and free kick routines on YouTube, which is fine, but we have to mix it up a bit and choose our moments - we're confusing ourselves as much as the opposition at the mo.
And we still have that habit of taking the pressure off the opposition by passing backwards when we're supposed to be moving forward. Then knocking it forward to where our player is offside.
But promising so far. We just need to capitalise before they fight back.

Decent ? A quick look at RedCafe and the sentiment over there is the same as mine, we've been brilliant and deserve to have this sewn up. I really hope the lads get what they deserve by keeping this up and getting a win by a couple in the second half.

42 mins, he's just chased Chambers ( I think it was ) down from 10 yards behind him to rip the ball off him and set up another attack. He has impressed me in his workrate.

I didn't want to jinx it!
They're getting a bit too much joy going forwards for my liking. We seem to only press when they get the box, I'd like us to push further up doing that so when we win the ball we have men to join the attack more quickly.
Will there come a time where by wrinkling his prune face even more it pops to a freakishly smooth socal botox face? I'd love to get a goal and find out.
Lucas has been superb at breaking up their play in front of the centre backs.
