Half time thoughts:
* Arsenal should have been 1-0 - valid goal from Ramsey, but we should have scored 2-3 goals after that
* Defense very solid - yet again, two very good performances from our fullbacks. Clyne is quite amazing.
* Lucas has been spectacularly effective - precisely the reason we shouldn't sell him (unless we have some DM who's better in mind)
* Another really good performance from Milner
* Firmino ... Looks so relaxed out there. I think he's still getting used to the pace but fucking hell, he oozes such class
* Coutinho ... he does fantastic things.
* Benteke - should have scored but he's causing them so many problems. This kid is so much more than a battering ram.
* Can - solid, disciplined performance
* Rodgers - has set his team up very well again.
I don't believe we need any 'moral victories' - let's just get a proper victory and smash these fuckers.

I'm very encouraged regardless of the fact that we didn't score. First hint of how our team could function. Big worry for me is clyne being exposed with lack of midfield cover, and I don't think he's quite at the level to cope with yet. Huge plusses in attack.
We played a cracking match, only to be denied by Cech. We could've been 2-3 up if not for him.
And what's with the commentators ? Was it Mark Lawrenson ? We totally dominated Arsenal and Coutinho almost scored a worldly and all they had to say was what a great save by Cech blah blah, but no one commended Coutinho's effort and skill.

Superb half...reminiscent of the way we were playing a couple of years ago...pacy and aggressive. Forget Benteke's miss, he's so much more than a target man. Great work by Milner too, what a signing he is. Absolutely no complaints about any of that...as long as we get the goal(s) we deserve. Great stuff.
He won the most tackles for an attacking player in the Bundesliga, so defending isnt a problem for him.
