Hasn't been his fault. Has been isolated with us defending so far back. Danger signs were there in the first half.
I'm not sure that's help in the form sterling is in.
Yea, a much better player exhausted himself totally out of position because he was told to, and Sturridge mostly waited for the ball to come to him while everyone else was under the cosh.
Suarez looks knackered.
He was awful against Oldham too
We need to take the sting out of this side now, slow it down.

I think that's a bit unfair, I'd be surprised of sturridge wasn't asked to stay as high up as possible as the front man.
We are so deep that the ball is pinged to him with his back to goal. If we were further up the field, with our midfield closer, he'd be better.
This is depressing though.
That's the main issue I have with Rodgers. There's no sign at all that we're addressing woeful defending.
And when the ball does come to Sturridge he is full of no surprises at all because he has no right foot and, by the looks of things, no aggression either so the defenders have an easy job controlling him. He seems more suited to being released into space, like Suarez has been trying to do.

Midfield far to deep. Almost all the time.
If this were nil nil we'd be happy, out just looks bad after having the two goal lead eroded.
Next goal wins most likely. Suarez is upfront. Keep the faith.
