3 successive Liverpool managers haven't wanted a fucking bar of him.
4th time's a charm though eh.
How many successive Italian managers have there been that haven't wanted to buy him for the fucking 90% off we've offered up Roopy?
He is Le Tallec with a prettier complexion.
Move on people.
we had in fact agreed an 8M fee for Aquilani with the manager of Juve at the time, Luigi Del Neri ... however he was sacked and then a new manager came in, Antonio Conte, and decided not to pursue him and instead opt for someone younger in Arturo Vidal, and snap up Pirlo on a free.
So the one manager who has reportedly been interested in signing Aquilani gets sacked before he can actually do it? Was that the final straw for the board?
"Look guys I know things haven't gone so well but I have plans. Big plans. I want to sign Aquilani for 8 million!"
"Get out"
Go and shout that outside the Shankly gates Modo. Im almost certain that will sway their thinking.I can't accept getting rid of Aquilani as long as we have worse players in the squad.
Pirlo/Aquilani too similar - fuck me thats a bit of a leap!! Having watched him about 3 times last season he is a complete meh player, the game just passes him by as he gently jogs up and down the pitch, the occasional pretty pass excepted. Unlike Pirlo who can actually control a match dictating the tempo. He's never going to be suited to the rough and tumble of the prem. Please just get rid
Milan have dismissed fresh links with Kaka and Mario Balotelli by declaring that they need a new defensive midfielder.
“I have many dreams, but seeing Balotelli at Milan will most likely remain just that,” Vice-President Adriano Galliani stated to Sky Sport Italia.
“As for Kaka, I see his return to San Siro as impossible. They have different tax laws in Spain and we can’t compete with their salaries.”
While ruling out bids for the Manchester City and Real Madrid players, Galliani also insisted that striker Robinho will stay.
“In order to complete our squad, we are missing a midfielder who can play in front of the defence,” Galliani added. “Kevin Constant was signed yesterday from Genoa to replace the injured Sulley Muntari.”
The Diavolo are thus looking for a direct Mark Van Bommel replacement after he opted to return to PSV Eindhoven.
“Our objective for the season ahead is to win the Italian championship and go as far as possible in the Champions League,” the official added.
Please, please make this happen so that no one can ever talk about him again.......AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has speculated that the club could still sign Liverpool playmaker Alberto Aquilani.
The Italian international is due back in England for talks with new manager Brendan Rodgers concerning his perspective involvement next season.
Aquilani has spent the last two seasons on loan at AC Milan and Juventus and is seeking clarity on his future have endured a torrid three-year career at Anfield.

Aquilani's future is up in the air.
A clause was inserted in Aquilani's contract upon his loan move to the San Siro allowing the 27-year-old to complete a permanent move to Serie A should he made 25 appearances during the season. However, having made only 23 appearances domestically, Milan have so far been unable to clinch a deal, and the player's agent Franco Zavaglia hinted earlier this week that the Rosseneri might have missed their opportunity to recruit Aquilani this summer.
Now Galliani has waded in with the latest twist to the saga surrounding Aquilani, stating a deal could still be clinched before the transfer window slams shut.
"Before August 31, another midfielder will arrive, it could be Aquilani or somebody else," Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"We haven't spoken yet to Aquilani. He is a Liverpool player."
Clarence Seedorf, Gennaro Gattuso and Mathieu Flamini are all leaving Milan this summer, and the club are likely to require an additional midfield option as they attempt to wrestle the Serie A title away from Juventus next term.
