Another Pundit Calls for Owen

His other recent articles are "Antonio Valencia is emerging from Ronaldo's shadow", "Gary Neville is tainting his own history at Man United" and "Gabriel Obertan shows Nani how to replace Cristiano Ronaldo"

Those are three evidently incorrect things, right in a row.

LOL, but what I saw in the game was that Man U was not the team it was before, no bite and defended en mass with some breaks to threathen. their only threat was Rooney. And when Micky came in, I don't think he even had a touch of the ball in any threathening way.

And Alan Hansen said Man U played well. Did we watch the same game?

A lad on 606 last night said he 'knows' that Gabriel obertan will be a better player than Ronaldo within two years.

I was so stunned i couldnt even swear at me radio.

Obertan had one good dribble in his 5 minutes cameo. Too early to see anything yet.

They were banging on about him on SSN this morning and how it's 'unbelievable' that he's not in the England squad. Why should he be? He doesn't deserve to be there on merit, but they think he should be in on historical reputation. Owen's half the player he was five seasons ago, people in football need to get over it. This was one of the reasons I didn't want him back at Liverpool.

Why wasn't Berbatov playing last night? Couldnt find the reason on any of the match reports.

True Anita. Every game Man U plays, and needing a goal, when they send in Owen, I chuckle. Bar the Man City goal (and Carra's block), there was no threat from him as far as I can see.

He plays for Man Utd now Anita. Whilst he was at Newcastle starting games the media weren't interested in him yet he plays a few games as a sub for Man Utd he automatically should be in line for an England call-up. It's hypocrisy beyond belief and the reassuring thing is Capello won't get swayed or influenced by it.

I disagree Sunny, they hyped him up when he was playing for Newcastle too, one goal and suddenly he was a world beater again. Admittedly it's far worse sine he's gone to Utd, but it's alwaus been there with Owen.

The more they bang on about him the more Capello will fuck him off (if it's possible to increase the amount of fucking-offness that he is inflicting upon the blockhead Traitor).

Rooney, Darren Bent, Defoe and Heskey.....maybe

That should be the strikers goin the world cup
