Anfields new race shame...

So I should accept an eight-day ban for my post, and then come back and apologise. If that were to happen I'd take down as many of you as I possibly could with me.

If that happened Dantes, you can count on me to racially abuse the mod who bans you based on 'racism'.

I have your back. I hope you remember that when the important days come.

It looks to me that a 59 year old welshman at Anfield was captured on camera doing the "I'm a little teapot" dance
Has it been confirmed that he is 100% Welsh?

Yes. The cardigan confirms it.

Credit where it's due, there's a model report in the Sunday Mirror about the incident, soberly noting the 'supporter' as just an individual rather than a fan and taking pains to acknowledge how angry LFC fans were about the early reports. Really good and professional account. Jim White in the Torygraph, on the other hand, whined on about how everyone at the club were happy to 'hate in the right way'. No clues where Jim White comes from, of course.

to be honest i think the medias bored with it now, dont expect it to surface again

Christ you're in for a shock!

So would you rather the 59 yr old man have not done anything overtly racist, just so that Evra wouldn't feel abused? Would you rather sit next to a covert racist next week than to have poor little Evra feel abused? Dantes doesn't roll like that. Evra forfeited his importance to me weeks ago, and if there is a way to have him punished abused and tortured, whilst at the same time doing a favour to the club's real and genuine fight against racism... then it is the most perfect outcome. John Barnes is the only one in the mainstream media to come out and state that just because you kick out overt racism, it doesn't mean people won't still be racists. Total truth. So here we have a racist who's been provoked to do something overtly racist and get caught. That's excellent and the best tactic to be effective against racism (unless you count educating of kids and that type of cotton wool sugar coated approach to it).

So I'm failing to see what you are all being emotionally sensitive about. Perhaps it is just the overt aspect that makes you feel uncomfortable. Or perhaps the image that it portrays of our club and it's supporters. I honestly don't give a fuck about either. They're both superficial bullshit. All that matters is the 59 yr old will pay for his thought crimes, and Patrice Evra will pay for his lies. As long as I get what I wanted, then fuck everyone else who disagrees.

Ohh interesting on twitter, someone expand it?

It wasn't a thought crime, he acted it out dantes!
I agree with barnes he is spot on re overt v covert racism, but that's a bigger picture problem not an lfc only problem. This bloke doing that during a highly charged game with all the baggage that came with it is stupid, it's puts more and more pressure on the club.

You have been posting shit on this topic for months now.

Hmmmm, is there a conspiracy going on to shut this up and stop things getting really nasty with us and United?

Is it a rumour? Is The work of a non-scum fan on the wind-up. There were certainly plenty o rumours flying round on this in the ale house.

Fair enough, but for racism the distinction between thoughts / actions isn't a big one. Also I would agree with you had the club not backed down. The pressure this guy has put on the club isn't something I feel bad about in the slightest. The club backed down for PR reasons, so whatever happens now is too bad. Fuck the club in that regard.

All that concerns me is that Evra has gotten away with murder over this. I don't care about the club, or Suarez, or our fans. They all had their chance to defend themselves and they all gave up like cowards. So they're out of the picture now. All that bugs me, all that eats away at my brain and stops me from having closure is one and only one thing - the fact Evra got away with it.

I mean take a look at hillsborough and what those families have achieved afterwards. That is an example of people who don't accept lies, who don't give in, and who do not quit fighting. That's what good people do, they fight for justice.

In this case when there are no good people prepared to fight. Then frankly, you have no right to speak. Just shut the fuck up and watch as the bad people step in and fight for vengence instead. And when that makes you feel uncomfortable, how dare you decide to take some sort of moral high ground after the fact. You're a coward. Don't even think you deserve to be in my sight, let alone speak to me. You have nothing to say to me. That's how dantes rolls.

I've no idea who Dantes is aiming his posts at currently.
Nobody in particular it was hypothetical as I am too busy to actually fight against Evra. Hypothetically, I would have planned out something very similar to what happened. If I wanted revenge then I'd rile up our support, make sure they all knew Evra was a liar, make sure they booed him to death as they did. Then I would anticipate in that kind of atmosphere, there will always be some silly racist who see's all the booing and feels confident he can join in with racist abuse. That would stick the knife into Evra quite nicely for him to be subjected to such abuse for real this time. And as soon as the game was over, I'd stick the knife into the silly racist too. That's a fantastic days work in my book. My post was aimed at anyone who wouldn't condone that.

You've said yourself that if people are not prepared to fight they have no right to speak. Bit weird that you're still piping on about it then

I hope that's it now, or at the very least after we next play UTD. I know there'll be race and racism issues for years to come but I'm fucking tired of the crap this year, it's been one thing after another since the beginning of the season.

You need to understand inside Evra's mind, he's hearing thousands of people booing him. Then that one silly racist abuses him, and in his mind all the other people booing him suddenly sound racist too. Of course they are not, but the impact upon Evra's psyche is that 40,000 people are racially abusing him. I am completely totally happy with that form of torture. Perhaps the thought of Evra's children sitting in the stands watching that happen to their dad might make me think more carefully about it. But even then I think I could deal with that, dantes is hardly one to be moved to tears over a couple of snotty kids. For me it's the least Evra deserves for deliberately lying about Suarez and potentially ruining his reputation.

Evra deserves abuse by those who believe he's a liar about being exactly that. He does not deserve racist abuse no matter how ill you think of him.

People were speaking against my hypothetical argument saying it was stupid and idiotic of me to take that viewpoint. So I'm saying hypothetically they don't have a right to speak because their own hypothetical arguments were equivalent to "let Evra get away with it", "draw a line under it and move on", etc.

In reality noone is involved in this conflict or following up on their argument. But that's cos we all have other things to do. I don't find that weird.
