All you can ask of a Liverpool player is that they try their best. If they're shit, it's not their fault. That's down to the manager for constantly picking them.
Lucas is a perfect example. He was never brilliant, he was never poor. But he got on with it and tried. And now we and him are reaping the benefits. He got unnecessary stick from the odd gobshite like Brendan granted but in reality kept his head down and worked hard.
But this big fucking pansy, Andy Carroll, looks disinterested and has got no fight in him, no fire in his belly. A massive mistake that Kenny needs to learn from. Ship him out, take the financial hit and move on.
