If before the transfer window I was offered Suarez and Carroll for about 8M plus a slower, injury prone, lazy almost 27 year old sulking shitbag, I'd have been very happy.

We shouldnt be too carefree about the fees though imo; for a short while Saunders was still a British record at 2.75 million..theres every possibility that if we'd bought more carefully, even someone cheaper might have been much better for us..Collymore too..

I think Carroll will fail. I've said it. I have a bad feeling about this.
He's got the raw talent but I don't think he has the mentality to be a top class player.
