Was on about this, i wouldn't want Allen playing that role after Coutinho, not against him in that midfield set up against Spurs though.

Just to clarify, I'm not suggesting dropping Coutinho. I mentioned in my long post that the front 6 were playing too well at the moment for us to contemplate changing. I was just showing a potential line up in which I think Allen would flourish.

Anyone rating Cissokho as a footballer need their head read. He has improved dramatically of late but has moved from very poor to average at best. Get in lad, let common sense prevail.

I still see majority here still keep faith in Lucas which i don't rate at all and average….so with me keeping faith in Cissokho to come good should not be a problem then.

I honestly believe there will come a day when the nay sayers will rate Allen, I think he's a very intelligent footballer, sadly, I don't know whether he'll be wearing a red shirt when this happens. I think he could turn into a similar sort of player to Alonso, a metronome, maybe he doesn't have the long range passing that Xabi does, but I think he'll become that sort of player.
Problem with Lucas is too many average performances. He has had more than a few great performances prior to injuries but thats what we want as a norm. Pogba is the man for that role. He is a supreme athlete with pure power and talent to boot.
