I feel like your setting yourself up for a fall with this one.

You'd need a bit more than one seasons worth of data to be able to say whether it's because he's good or lucky.
I'm not really. I'm just reporting the available stats. I have stated I see this as a risk, but the stats (albeit for one season) are clearly impressive.

From a United forum (some great work by one of their posters RedSky):

"All Goalkeepers taken from Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A that played 1000+ minutes.

The percentage is the amount of shots they let in. De Gea for example had 142 shots (28 conceded) which means he let in 19.7% of the shots.

This gives me some reason to be excited about Alisson.
Could we not have put a bid in for anyone who is between number 5 and 20 and maybe save 30M on transfer fee ? we know he will turn shit as soon as puts on a Liverpool shirt !!!@its the way of things.

Poor the karius.

Yes, well fuck him. Useless cunt.

Like I said, maybe we're all so delirious about spending £67m on a new keeper, and ABK, but we've been burned before.

Obviously, I was always nervous about Karius and never thought he was good enough really, ditto Mignolet, so it shouldn't take me long to correctly assess Allison.

BREAKING NEWS
Sky in Italy are reporting that Liverpool have completed a £67m deal to sign Roma's Alisson, subject to the goalkeeper passing a medical.
Our colleagues are reporting that the 25-year-old has agreed personal terms on a five-year deal.
The goalkeeper is set to arrive in the UK this evening and will complete his medical in the next few days.
the transfer fee would be a world record for a goalkeeper.

According to this, Karius had 3 errors that led to goals and they were all in the league. So clearly you have all been duped and his errors in the CL final did not lead to goals at all

Alisson set to fly in for medical after personal terms agreed

Alisson will fly to Merseyside to undergo a medical ahead of completing his world record £66.8million move from Roma to Liverpool, writes James Pearce.
The Brazil international has agreed personal terms on a five-year contract after being granted permission to hold talks with the Reds.
Alisson will cut short his holiday in Sardinia to complete the formalities before becoming the most expensive goalkeeper in the world. An official announcement should follow in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Love Bobby! First Fabinho and now Alisson.

🙁 why?
Myself, Dave, Aidan and and other lads didn't get a sniff of a ticket this morning and as there will be more people eligible to buy tickets in the morning I expect it to be even harder

I've no idea how good he is but lets be happy for now. We all wanted to sign a goal keeper and some worried we wouldn't.
Karius will not be our #1 Keeper next season, I repeat, Karius will not be our #1 Keeper next season and we've smashed the transfer record to replace him.

Hopefully our Nivea connection will sort out his fucking acne.
Anyway, we needed to get a new keeper. Not sure how good this kid is and if he's really top bracket, but better him than Karius.
And it's not my money, so fuck it.

Fuck sake, I want to get a ticket for the West Ham game and the City game. I'm guessing I have zero chance.

City game is already sold out. West ham sale is tomorrow morning (well it is if the home game is scheduled before the new year). You can try late availability sales two weeks before each game too.

How is it possible for the City game to be sold out already before even going to general members? buying tickets for this club is a fucking joke man, they have the cheek to charge £30 for fan cards knowing full well you've got fuck all chance of going to a game against a top half team. /rant

The first sale was Tuesday for those with 13+ credits.
The second sale was today with those with 4+ credits.
Unless they have kept back an allocation for general sale tomorrow for all card holders but I'd say there will only be a handful of tickets. Sale is on at 8.15 for games tomorrow and it's a lottery just to get in to purchase tickets.

Yeh, it just annoys me, I get you want to reward people who go often, but it makes it impossible for anyone else. I bought three fan cards yesterday with the aim of going to some games as a three, thats £90 to just then be told to fuck off because I didn't go last season. I don't know how they should do it, but it should be improved imo.

Impressive in what sense ?

Is he impressively lucky ? or has he performed impressively ?

One season of that data is not something to gamble 20m quid on, never mind 70

I bet that they think it's fine this way.
