Just once I'd like to cheer Drogba as he hurls himself to the ground writhing in excruciating agony to win a free-kick/pen.

They flunked in the African Cup but remain a team stocked with European-based players of good calibre. They're in a group with Portugal and Brazil (and Korea) so even if they go out after the group stages we'd have had some entertainment - they'd be the perfect antidote to a year of watching Rafa's compact army. First game up against Portugal could see our boys off to a flyer.

Just imagine the endless fun we'd have with Les Elephants (tusk, tusk etc)

Surely it has to be Spain. Not only for the obvious reasons, but our club is in partnership with the Spain Tourist Board, we have had previous connection to Spain in a major tournament before and it just seems the logical choice really. For the first time, I will be rooting for a team other than Brazil.
