A couple of things I love about the current Liverpool FC

especially when compared to the previous owners, the previous manager, etc.

1. Our manager is comfortably *bigger* than any player at the club. Fuck the egos, the Fernando's, the Masherano's, etc. We're doing things right.

2. I LOVE how we're keeping stuff in house again. All the press moaning wanting to know about Kenny's announcement, transfer targets, etc. And we tell them fuck all. I liked this quote from Ayre today:

"One of the things that people have been really critical of the club about over the past few years was making rash statements and then not living up to them. We've seen from day one with Tom (Werner) and John that they do things in a measured way and they expect us to do the same. Just like questions being asked about today's announcement for the last few months, the same questions are being asked about the stadium. As and when we know the answers, we will tell everybody"

Bravo Liverpool FC. You really are wonderful.

Your first point is Massive, it really is.

There are many clubs where the manager is not the biggest player like City/chelsea the players know the manager is likely to be binned any time soon so they don't afford him the respect he needs. At LFC its different.

It feels like things are just as they're supposed to be.

I love that we have a manager who is of the Liverpool way.
I love that we're blooding in young players
I love that we're no longer battling against our owners
I love that we no longer have any moony brats sulking about who think they're too good play for us
And I love the fact that we're playing the beautiful game the way it's meant to be played.

Excellent post and I fully agree, George.

The first point is the key in my opinion. It's all so 'natural' too as in he doesn't even have to make an effort to be The Man(like Mourinho does for example) so it won't be wearing out anytime soon either. Everyone with half a brain knows if they cross Kenny there's no future for them at this club.

Liverpool FC in its current state is a throwback to our glory years. That's the way it should stay and King kenny will ensure that it remains that way.

I love that it's Kenny for 3 years
I love the way we are playing
I love that we are capable of twatting any team right now
I love how players have stepped up (Spearing, Maxi)
I love how the youth are coming through, and also the encouragement all of them are being given (including stuff like travelling with the team when they go away)
I love Suarez, and I also think Carroll will be a top player for us
I love how the owners are saying very little, but when they do it's usually to announce something very positive for the club
I love the impact the new faces have made at the club in their respective positions (Clarke and Comolli)
I love how the marketing seems to continue to make big strides
I love how everybody in the club is pulling the same way
I love that the future is bright again
