The problem was NEVER will or attitude... We never stopped trying, never quit. This is still a great team, with the heart of a champion. Circumstances and exhaustion (brought on by circumstances) fucked us this year.

Think Qatar finish third without Dias AND Laporte AND Stone at CB, and KDB playing out of position most of the season? Do they fuck. And any of the the other teams out there would have been bottom half / relegation material, if faced with our circumstances this season.

We're still really, really good. Full strength, full Anfield, fully rested next season, and we'll win it again.

In those 10 games, 20 goals scored, 6 goals let in, GD of 14, and an infinite number of chances created. This is why we should not contemplate selling Salah or Mane. keep the gang together, make strategic Jota-like additions, integrate Harvey Elliott into the squad and we should be ready to compete for the league and CL next season.
