So Klopp's on record stating that he'll re-evaluate the situation during the Intl break between Mignolet and Karius.

It might just be that Karius has played Mignolet back into the side today vs Swansea.

Who's your choice?

Solely on today's performance, don't think Karius is better than Ming, but he was calm,I hope he improves &
stays as our No. 1

Klopp's absolutely right to approach this as he's said he will. It should depend totally on how they both go on the training-ground meanwhile. I get the temptation to give Karius a run, but not at the expense of a win over ManUre if Mignolet trains the better of the two, not for me anyway.

Karius for now.

Mignolet's had a fairly decent start to the season and dropping him is harsh, especially when Karius isn't shining between the nets. But we know Mignolet isn't good enough long-term based on years of experience. By that measure affording Karius a run of games to prove himself is the sensible thing to do.

Karius.

Those on here who judge a player after two performances should stop moaning about the modern fan.

You'd think he was new to the league and adapting. Oh....

Except that by saying it, Karius knew he had two games upon which his immediate career prospects will depend, it's pretty harsh to put that sort of pressure upon what appears to be a mediocre player. Klopp probably only flapped his gums about it beforehand because he doesn't want to look like a clueless dickhead in the event that he reverts back to Mignolet.

The mistakes today were not down to "adaption". They were basic goalkeeping errors. Plain and simple.

It's possible to back and support a player whilst offering a realistic assessment of their current performances.

No you didn't.
But *everyone* knew you'd post exactly what you did.

Good. Its one thing being critcal. Karius wasnt good enough today and needs to improve. But its his 2nd game. Only a moron would think this is and will be his level. Give him time.
We wanted a new GK. Cant cry and moan after 180 mins of football. Makes no sense.

Karius.

I'd say the stupid thing was how people were talking him up while he sat on the bench as if he was going to be a brilliant improvement.

DeGea was making exactly the same kind of errors in his first season....its hard to judge when to come out in a new league....im more than willing to give a large enough berth, but they should work on this in training...a lot.

Mignolet was making exactly the same kind of errors in his first season as well

Milner. The guy can do anything.

If we could clone him, we could keep these two jokers AND Moreno off the pitch.

At least Karius can kick a ball, find a pass.

I can't find any possible reason for playing Mignolet. He's utter fucking shite
