OK I have a groundless piece of fantasy that might get Oncy's cock twitching. Man City buy Sanchez from Arse. We buy Aguero from City. Could he be the slightly older top quality forward we're meant to be tracking? Lots of reports in the press today saying he is pissed off under Guardiola. He'd be an amazing signing for us.

Think you just got everyones cock twitching. Moron will be most pleased I reckon.

If Whinger has any sense he'll ask for Aguero plus cash for Sanchez. They have the advantage of having leverage with City. Maybe if we ask super politely and send a nice fruit bowl around to Pep he'll sell to us?

Arsenal asked for Sterling, so I doubt they'll ask for Aguero. Would he even go there now?

City might have that today

Guardiolas cunning plan must be to play 8 forwards and 2 full backs.

I think Sanchez complements our set up better. He works harder, can play across the three and is a more rounded player.

Aguero is an out and out striker and spends time out injured regularly it seems.

That was about the response I was expecting, which I get. Whilst I don't like the "plan b" phrase though, I do think we need another option against sides that sit deep against us though, & as such Aguero & his more direct style appeal to me.

Aguero works hard too, and I stand to be corrected, but he has been left out by Pep rather than been out injured. That being said, I'd rather Sanchez myself, but that just ain't happening.

He got left out amid chatter that he doesn't work hard enough for Giuardiola's liking.

Again, maybe it's just that he only shows for big games, but any time I watch City Aguero works his balls off. He isn't a Sturridge. He is physical and a nuisance as well as being a very top level finisher. I've never understood the Guardiola rumours about his work rate, but as I say, I don't watch City every time they play.

According to SKY, Guardiola doesnt want Aguero to be part of any deal that is done for Sanchez. So, its a moot point regardless I guess.

That doesn't mean he's staying, just that he doesn't want to use him in exchange with Arsenal. Probably Aguero is also not very keen to play in Europa league...

Let's face it, if Piedro is right & Coutinho is off, there's no way klopp will be happy with Lemar or Oxlade Chamberlain as a replacement, & the owners must know the fanbase will be fuming.

Getting an Aguero or Sanchez in would go a long way to negating the loss.

I'd straight swap Coutinho for Sanchez right here, right now, if that was even a distinct possibility. One of my favourite players Alexis.

Can I also point out that I'm loving how Sterling is being mooted as a make-weight to Arsenal. After leaving us to win things with City he's linked with a calamitous Arsenal, where hilariously, I half fancy he'll end up playing WB.
