I really don't know mate. I'm inclined to be indulgent because he's a Scouser who clearly loves the club so much, but I must admit the last year or so has been a bit frustrating as he's been given specific tactical roles to learn on the pitch and, even though he's kept to his brief, the drying up of goals has made it hard to gauge his real progress and potential. I'm hoping this season he'll be sent back to a forward position and be given the license to show how this reconditioned version of him fares. He's always had the eye for a goal chance, he's always shown that hunger for the fight and he's always shown pretty good technique for a striker, so I really hope he progresses. Trying to be as impartial as possible I'd say he's probably destined for a role at somewhere like Bolton, but there's still an opportunity here. I just hope, after all of these experiments, they now say: you're a number 9, here's a run of games, show us what you can do. Because I think he still has a chance - albeit a small one - of challenging for the odd sub appearance for the first team) not now but if he keeps improving this season), and if he does well then, then who knows? Fingers crossed!

I stuck that video of Adam Morgans goal on youtube last night, turns out to be quite popular 111,000 views overnight.

It was mentioned during last night's game that he was back training, no idea on when he'll be back though.

Brentford just play pure long ball. Teixeira is just seeing the ball flying over his head.
Once Brentford went a goal down they seemed to let their heads go down and started the long ball stuff. They normally play much more football. Rosler seems a little uncertain as to what his best team is at the moment. They mostly played 4-4-2 last night, not the usual formation and one not suited to Teixeira. He got bullied off the ball a few times, will be interested to see how he reacts to that.

Great to read that they're both back. I was impressed by Smith before his unlucky injury; hope he makes up for the lost time quickly and gets a call-up to the seniors later this season. I assume Pelosi is back training as well?

LFC U21'S V Spurs, LFCTV now

Cissokho gets a run out.

Brad Smith and Samed Yesil back from long-term injury.

Teixeira on the bench! Didn't know his loan had ended.

Apparently Inglethorpe wasn't pleased with how Teixeira was being treated out on loan so he was recalled early.

well played McLaughlin. Positive play, running at the defence earns a penalty

McLoughlin looks like he has everything needed to make it as a senior player.
Looks made for the wing back role
