Remember when Manure were utter bollocks and they had no money and Ferguson was about to get sacked and they had no choice but to throw the kids in and it turned out they were all fucking brilliant?

Well I guess we can dream.
 
I will still be tuned into ITV4 tomorrow cheering us on to win. If you want to avoid losing money betting, you have to take the opportunities when you identify them. I have no difficulty separating my bet from my support for the club in my mind.

I have to admit I am not as big a fan of GaGa as I was back in 2009, before she became a global superstar and started supporting right-on issues. It's all become a bit overblown and she has lost some of that "edge" I used to like.

Officially Doni is back in Brazil dealing with 'family issues'. Unofficially, as many pictures show, he's been clubbing most nights, probably spilling most of his drinks thanks to those delicate chocolate wrists of his, the great drip.

Having seen Young Boys in action this Season I believe that will prove a good vaste of money mate.

They don't have much quality in the squad and the one who had some they've sold to Southampton.

Bit previous, that, isn't it? The season's hardly started. There's plenty of time yet for him to get some proper first team action.
 
It was pretty obvious Sahin was a bit shellshocked by the pace of his first match, so it makes sense to give him a lower-profile run out at a more familiar pace to get him settled.

Sahin has himself only just said he is still 7-10 days away from full fitness. Let's give him this match - he needs it.

It's not about blooding him, it's about getting him fit and familiarising him with the play and some of his team mates. Throwing him in didn't work fantastically well against Arsenal, did it?

Gotta feel sorry for Carragher in that squad. They're probably all chatting a load of crap that he doesn't have the foggiest what they're on about.
 
Carra is in his last season. I'm guessing he already does a fair bit of coaching when it comes to the younger lads. Having him on these European trips is well worth it.
