Remember the Christmas games under Hodgson? I normally get asked for tons of tickets for those games as the scouse diaspora return to see relatives etc. 35,000 in on one of them, I seem to recall.

Our core support isn't very big at all. Rael is right, gates are predicated on results.

Exactly.

I'm not saying it isn't the same for other teams, but I could get loads of spares for yesterday's game - which isn't usual against Manure. Full corporate which the club were selling at over 300 quid were being offered at 100 on Saturday afternoon. That's got to worry the lizards.

I think people are expecting good things from rodgers, but don't want to be there when tickets are available when the team are struggling. They'd prefer being there when we're fighting for top and saying "I supported him from day one"

No, you didn't.

Can I assume that all of us on this board would go to 99% of games we could go to (i.e. no family wedding, no tragedy god forbid etc)?

Who said this:

"It's the easiest thing in the world to support a winning team. " ?

Me. Just now. And loads of times before. You support your team through thick and thin. When they're great and when they're shite. I think thats why I hated this place so much last season - I did feel like people were not behaving in support of the team and players. It's fine to criticise as well of course. I felt the criticism outweighed the support. I don't get that, it's not how I, or the people I go the game with, behave so it's all a bit alien to me.

I understand that loads of people find it difficult to go the game Wizzy. Loads dont though and still cant be arsed. Saying that it is expensive these days.

It is expensive, and I understand that (for me, it was a massive expense) but if I had the ability (and lived in the right country), I'd be there every time I could. I live under your ethos for 'fandom' - support through thick and thin.

I do at the ground. Moaning there just puts the players under more pressure - but I can see why people moan in conversation when we blew all that money, and effectively our chances. I don't reckon you should blindly support stupid decisions.

No, of course not - like I said it's Ok to have a moan and criticise - every one does it - you'd be weird if you didn't. But when it comes to the point everything that comes out your gob is something negative against the club whats the point ?

Fair dinkum. You'll always get that though. Some people just moan about everything whether it's football or current affairs or the weather or whatever. I've been laughing listening to 606 lately with Stoke fans coming on saying they should fire Pulis because he's taken them as far as he can. There are so many divs around it's unreal.

So how long before this WUM cunt Rael gets binned?
I'm with you here, he's a fucking cunt.
Thirded.

Immensely boring.

An eloquent bunch. If you think our attendance levels will be maintained if the team is struggling then you're deluded. We'd struggle to fill Anfield as it is now, nevermind one expanded to 60,000.
A wind up just because you don't want to hear it?

How is it different? Because I'm new round here that's the only difference.

Nah - he's explained (as did Woland) exactly what you were trying to say ... You basically implied most of our fans base is fair weather and it irked quite a few people (not me! I just wanted to hear your explanation first).

Are you, or your family, from SA?

I agree it's easy to support a winning team sunny. Dead easy. Last season my criticisms weren't as vocal as others and I still went every home game in the league.

It's also hard to criticise a winning team, which us why when we're poor all the negativity floods out.

I'm content at the minute with us

I believe in Rodgers mate, I do. However, with a severe lack of points I'm finding it hard to become anywhere near content.

That I don't deny. We're 2 sides of the same coin, exactly like last year. Overall agreeing on things but our position on positivity is opposite.
